The 12 Kits of Occasions - September Edition

The 12 Kits of Occasions
Wow, can you believe that September is over and tomorrow will be October!!! I swear the older I get the faster time seems to fly.  I am the hostess for this month's kit and it is all about Halloween!  It was a fun kit to put together and I think everyone had a great time playing with all the ingredients, I know the kits had fun going through the mail, Sharron's kit took a detour from California to Hawaii to Kansas, I will not lie, I was pretty worried that Sharron and I were going to have to hop on a plane to retrieve her kit.  I made quite a few cards and projects to this post is a photo heavy, so grab a cup of your favorite beverage, sit back and click away! Once you are finished here be sure to head over to The 12 Kits of Occasion's blog to see what the rest of the ladies created with their kits. You can also find my list of supplies on the blog if you are interested. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at all my cards....have a great rest of your week!

My final project is a Halloween gift for a sweet friend of mine, so I decorated this white treat box and filled it with mummy oreo's.
Thank you again for stopping by!

  4. Well, Kim--you outdid yourself with this kit for us, and then you outdid yourself again with all your amazing cards and projects. They are all so fabulous, and I cannot even begin to pick a favorite. I wish I had thought to make a pillow box--thank goodness I have some extra sheets, and I know just the pattern I am going to use. I love those winking eyes on your mummy oreos. Brilliant idea to use that ghost paper behind that die cut grave yard.

  11. Mercy ME, talk about showcasing your own kit! (Now I am nervous about my upcoming turn in November, eek!) These are AMAZING projects, Kim! Love the layers of the bingo card and the scattered sequins. Those cookies are out of this world, hee! So adorable in the box with the tulle. Love how the little treat container creatures just pop off the white tag and next to the little beakers of candy corn, any kid would love these. Love your scene with the ghosty background, I saw them escaping from behind the Halloween Hills TOO! So glad I have my spooky scarecrow left after seeing your card (and Kara's)...such fun still to be had. Your kit was so much fun to work with, makes me kinda wish that Halloween was every few months during the year!! :) Thanks sooo much!

So many incredible ideas for using up what I have left. :) I just love the ribbon treatment on the first two cards and the scattered sequins around the bat.
