Dynamic Duo's #80 - Triple Threat and Serendipity #24 - Gifts & Tags

Happy Monday...hope everyone is have a fabulous day. Today was the first day of my Thanksgiving break and I spent a good portion of the day be crafty, so much fun.  I have a set of gift tags and one card to share.  My tags are for the current challenge over at Serendipity, when I saw the tags that Marybeth made, you can see them here. I forgot that I had this amazing ornament die from Serendipity. I love all the wonderful detail on these and they cut so easily too.  I used PTI shimmer paper, I know it is hard to see in the photo but this paper is just beautiful.  I forgot that I had it and love the way it looks, need to pull it out more often.

Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog

My card is for this week's Dynamic Duo Triple Threat challenge...love that there are 3 colors this week and they all work so beautifully together.  I mean, who does not love the look of red, pink and green, it does not get much Christmasier than that.  My friend Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea sent me the sweet little penguins some time ago and they are just so cute, they were very happy to hop out of the bin and on top of a card. I edged the snow banks and the penguins hats with clear Wink of Stella, I know it is hard to see in the photo but love the look it gives, just a touch of sparkle. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my tags and card....wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving week!

The wee penguins...beyond cutie patootie! I love the depth you have created by placing the little guys on their very own snowbanks! Fabulous colors that totally made me smile :)
