Serendipity #27 - Buttons, Addicted to Stamps & More #77 and ColourQ #223

I have one more card to share for the day and it is for 3 challenges, Serendipity #27- Buttons, Addicted to Stamps & More #77 and ColourQ #223.  I had sooooo much fun making this card.  When I first set out to make it I was looking for card stock and ink to match the colors from this week's ColourQ but came up empty, nothing! But then I remembered I purchased a set of Inktense pencils for Ashleigh and thought I would give them a try. Wow!!! They are worth every penny and I am so glad we got the set with 72 colors! You will go crazy with these and that is a promise, these pencils are simply amazing!  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my card...enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  3. This card is a beauty! Love the look of the Inktense watercolor pencils. DId you heat-emboss the flower image first? It seems to have some dimension, and it helps to keep the pencil coloring "in place." I see you are a fan of the Lil' Inker stitched mats, too!

  5. WOWZERS KIM!!! You seriously colored these pretties? Absolutely gorgeous!

My first reaction when I saw your card was "Where did she find such cool colored rub-ons?" I'm quite sure that sales of these INKTENSE pencils will be through the roof after visiting your blog :) Your spring garden will definitely be making someone's birthday a happy one!

  7. This is such a pretty garden card, Kim! Great job on the coloring! I've been wondering about those pencils, but I have the full set of Prismacolors and don't imagine I can justify having both brands!! BTW, you should edit your post and also link with the "Make Your Mark" challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More - pencils are included. I hope you are enjoying your weekend! Hugs, Darnell
