Happy Sunday....

Well the weekend is just about over and back to work tomorrow. Did not accomplish much this weekend, spent most of my time trying to do what I could to rid myself of a migraine...started Friday night and is just about gone. I did not get much homework completed from class, Clean and Simply One Layer Cards. Started to make one and did not have any masking paper, so I ordered a package and will get caught up once it arrives.  I love the look of all the class samples using the masking technique and am looking forward to playing with it soon. I went ahead and used the supplies I had planned for my class card anyway, heat embossed white embossing powder and used Inktense pencils with a water brush.  Love, love this flower background stamp from Hero Arts but will say that my arm is still a bit sore from being twisted to buy it but it is well worth it! This card is for the current challenge over at Colour Me and House of Cards. The colors are just amazing, so vivid and beautiful together.  Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy your week!

  1. Wow, your colors are so bright I wondered if they were hurting your head-ache! I hope you feel better! I don't have migraines but some of my friends do, and it seems very difficult to make plans.

Tell me more about "Inktense pencils" as I've not heard of them! I need them, I'm afraid! ;-)

  5. Oh, Kim. This is gorgeous. I love this stamp, and how you water colored it. I am so sorry that your arm is still sore. I can't think of who would have done such a terrible thing to you. I was just thinking about this stamp for a homework assignment. How funny, right?

  10. Those retailers sure know how hard to twist don't they? I have a really low pain threshold so it is ALWAYS in my best interest to do what NEEDS to be done to avoid pain! Right? Yep, I thought that you would agree! Speaking of pain, I sure hope that your migraine has taken its leave!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! The subtle embossed background is a beautiful way to showcase the perfectly stamped flowers.Love the twine knotted buttons!
