The 12 Kits of Occasions - April 2014 Edition

Wow...the end of April is already here, that means it is time for the 12 Kits of Occasions post and wow, what an amazing kit! Our fabulous hostess this month is Jeanne from A Kept Life and I am quite sure everyone knows who she is and have seen her wonderful and creative cards. Her kit was like crafting supplies on steroids, every time I would look at the kit I would see something that I missed the time before. Jeanne's kit was filled with spring, literally...it was like an explosion of springtime right on my desk, I felt the need to take an Allegra just in case I had an allergy attack from all the beautiful flowers. I was one of the lucky ones this month and received the self-assembling kit, honest...I would leave the room and come back and find a card or two pretty much already made, it was like my supplies all fell into just the right spot. Enough chatting and on to my cards. Be sure to head over to our 12 Kits blog for a chance to win a May Kit...just leave a comment there about what what your favorite thing about the month of May is. And be sure to see all the fabulous cards made by the rest of the crafty ladies. You can also find a complete list of Jeanne's supplies there too. Thank you so much for stopping by...enjoy the rest of your week!

This card is for the current challenge at Retro Sketches #112

  3. I WISH I had thought of the last card you made Kim...I love those gold flowers all on one card with the cute sentiment and pink ribbon...so glad I have mine left over! I also really love your umbrella card...that was the most beautiful umbrella die cut I have ever seen...love all the little pearls scattered all over it! I laughed at your comment about the allergy medicine! Hope you are not still sneezing from all those paper flowers!

  13. Gorgeous--every one, Kim! And I agree about Jeanne's kit. It seems to magically just create cards on its own. All those fantastic papers and die cuts were amazing. Love all your designs! And you added such great details. I adore the pearls on the umbrella & the tea cup!

  17. Wow--Kim. So much gorgeousness on your blog. I think I might need an Allegra as well. They are all stunning, and I cannot single out one over the others--except to say that your first card was an 'aha' moment for me, as I had no clue what to do with those little flower die cuts, and your last card triptych is such a fantastic way to use those gold floral images.

  18. You and Joyce think alike! I've just come from her blog where she said her cards were "self-assembling," too! How cool is that?!! I know what you mean, but I also know it's not quite as easy as all that. You put a lot of work into these beauties, Kim, and it shows!! Well done! Have a great weekend! Hugs, Darnell

  19. What a busy woman you have been!! All of these cards are gorgeous, all different yet you can see the link back to the kit. I especially love the 'Thank you' card with the die cut flower in Navy? with the lighter blue underneath, so beautiful. I haven't seen these kits before, they look amazing and have so many inspiring supplies. You must love having them arrive each month!!
