Retro Sketches #115

I know I am a day late with my post...and how could I have forgotten to make a card with this??? It was my card that the sketch was done for...such a dope! Really, how cool is it to have a sketch made from your card? I felt so bad when my sweet friend Joyce asked what was up. It had been a crazy week, with the heat, allergies and just not feeling good, I have not spent much time in my craft room. So I finally have my card ready to go and Arielle from Retro Sketches could not be sweeter and more understanding. You have plenty of time to play along with Retro Sketches challenge #115 and I can't wait to see all your fabulous creations! You can see my first card that this was patterned after here. Thank you so much for stopping by...enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  3. What a fabulous card. I am so sad that you are not feeling well--perhaps you should send this card to yourself. Every week, you are knocking it out of the park with your cards, and today is no exception. How fun to be the muse AND the headliner.

  13. Oh, sweet Kim - I didn't realize you were feeling under the weather, yet you've managed - with your wonderful comments on my blog and special note - to make me feel like a million bucks! Huge, ginormous 'virtual' hugs coming your way, along with well-wishes! Heat and allergies...ick!! Your card here, as well as the original, are both fabulous (as is the Halloween one, which I love, love and love!!). I have one or two 'big' sentiment stamps, so you've definitely sparked some ideas. Love your birdie paper, the sentiment, the colours and ESPECIALLY the stitched circles!! I need to go shopping for those...maybe when we travel to the US, I'll send in a Lil' Inkers order (or MCT, depending..) FAbulous cards, dear friend, fabulous! Hugs~c
