2 Cards and 5 little note pads

Happy Saturday...today was the first day in what felt like forever that I had time and felt like be crafty. The past two week's have been simply crazy and it really feels good to play with my supplies! I have 2 cards to share today, one for Curtain Call - Something Simple...have not played along with this one is some time and my second card is for the current challenge at Simply Create Too - #63 Celebrate your Country. I also used some NBUS supplies and will be playing along with Darnell...she is celebrating reaching 500 follows, click here to check out all the fun and there some fabulous prizes too!

maybe it is just me but after I finished my card I noticed that the placement of my Circle Scribble look like a modern version of Mickey Mouse

Simply Create Too

My next projects are for this week's MIM over at Papertrey Ink #167 DIY Notebooks. They are so much fun and pretty quick to put together. I made 5 of the little cuties. You can see lots of inspiration here on Nichole's blog. Thank you so much for stopping by...enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  7. Great cards and notebooks Kim. You have been busy. I really like your circle scribble cards. I have only made one with that set. They are out of my regular style of stamping, but I was intrigued with them enough to buy them so I should get busy and use them. Thanks for the inspiration.

The first card is gorgeous (modernized Mickey...too funny): clean, simple, elegant! white on white +sequins = swoon-inducing. You certainly know how to elevate scribbles to 'classy' status. Your second card is lovely in capturing both the colours and the 'essence' of your country. And those notebooks...OMG! I love x love x love every one of them! Little masterpieces! No way could I write in them; rather, I'd display them throughout the house as pieces of art. Totally, completely and absolutely awesome (like you! ), Hugs~c

  32. Those scribbles grab my attention every time and look even more crisp and modern with 'white on white'. Very stylish! And those notebooks, they look so professional, as if you popped into a gorgeous stationary store and spent up large. I would love to have something like that in my HUGE handbag. I'm a 'make a list' girl and my current notepad is leftover from last years school stationary...boring!
