CASe Saturday

Happy Saturday...it has been forever since I have sat down to play with my stamps and today I went to a paper crafting event with 15 other ladies and actually accomplished something today. Usually I spent way too much time chatting and laughing and maybe would get one card completed but not today, I finished 10 cards! I went prepared and tried to make it easy to stay focused and get some work done. I decided to do nothing but CASe cards, except one. It made it very easy to be productive. I pulled out last month's 12 kit and used leftovers to make 3 cards, so quick and easy. We all brought food to share the theme was picnic, so what better to share at a picnic than watermelon? Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy your weekend and Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dad's out there.

Watermelon Rice Krispie Treats

This card is entered in the current challenge at The Card Concept#12 - Nautical. I think it fits into the clean and layered category.

Cards from lats month's 12 kits...thank you ladies for the fabulous inspiration!

I CASed Sherrie from A Little Piece of Everything, minus the sentiment forgot to bring those along. You can see Sherrie's card here. This card is using some NBUS, you can read more about that over at Darnells' blog, she has a party going on.

Never-Before-Used-Schtuff (Stamps, Dies, EFs, etc.)

This card is just about an exact copy of Tracey's card from In My Creative Opinion, you can see Tracey's card here. Both of these cards are for this week's challenge at ColourQ #245

  5. What a productive day you had Kim and I love the variety of cards you came up with. I specially love the first one because I always find it so hard to come up with masculine cards and this is wonderful.

  8. I'm so tickled for you that you got a chance to craft with 15 other ladies, Kim! You've been working hard and deserved that time! And, wow, I'm uber impressed with your productivity! Each of these cards deserves its own post with a spot in the limelight! They are all remarkable! You've done some really super CASEing, as well, which is a compliment to those artists!

  11. My family just left (sad face!!) so I headed over to your blog because I knew you'd have something to cheer me up. And wow, am I right!! You've shared a plethora (love that word!) of gorgeous cards here. Ten cards in one session (so glad you had some "you" time with your friends), each one different, is a stellar accomplishment. What a rich reward for us who have the opportunity to gaze, admire and swoon...I'm with Darnell: each of these cards warrants its own limelight post. I'm awed by all of them, but my favourites...oh heck, couldn't choose a favourite if you paid me! LOVE them all! Those colourful treats...yum! I just received some nautical themed goodies and your first card has sparked ideas. See...you've gone miles in making my 'missing my family' easier to bear. HUGE hugs to you, dear friend!! ~c

  24. I'm afraid I'm still behind too with my catching up on everyones amazing projects. You certainly were rather busy, these are all incredible! I love the New York scene, how I wish I could draw like that. It looks so good with the yellow, a simple but stunning card. Also your card with the four flowers is gorgeous and love the sentiment 'Wish Big'. I wish that I had a product that would turn any phrase I can think of into a stamp..that would be awesome!! And how was the Jelly Belly Factory?? Did you come out laden with bags of yummy beans? There are so many flavours, I can't even choose a favourite. I remember going to the Ben and Jerry's factory many years ago and you could eat lots of icecream at the end. Thank goodness I didn't need to run anywhere after that!!! I should be making cards now but I'm too tired. Will start again tomorrow, refreshed! Enjoy your weekend when it finally rolls around over there!
