This a photo of my hubby's garden, it is such a treat to have fresh veggies to eat every day. Yesterday he picked 3 gallon size bags of green beans and 4 large cucumbers. We have peppers, lot so very hot peppers like Ghost, Habanero, Serrano and Jalapenos too. Fresh carrots, heirloom tomatoes and eggplants are yummy too. I have plenty to share, come on over.

What a wonderful card. I love your waves.
ReplyDeleteI think this would have to be one of my most favourite cards you have made!! I even gasped when I opened the blog post! This colour combo is one of my favourites and I don't know how I managed not to make a card for this challenge. Your card is so clean, crisply die-cut and those waves (sigh..) they are magnificent. I've seen this die used before and love the pattern but never used this way, it was an amazing idea. This is definitely going on my Pinterest board and if this doesn't get honored somewhere I will eat my crazy looms!! I
ReplyDeleteYour card is so fun! I love the waves with the colors! Your garden is beautiful, too! How wonderful to have fresh veggies! Thank you for joining us at Colour Me this week! XX
ReplyDeleteThe card is fabulous, Kim - absolutely love the layers of waves! Very jealous of your garden - we didn't get ours in this year, but do have grapes, lemons and the neighbors figs (they don't eat them, but like the tree). My husband is a huge pepper fan - the hotter the better, but ghost peppers were too much for him :)
ReplyDeleteGet some fresh tomatoes and you could make a killer salsa with that great garden! Love your card with all the waves...cute idea and that die does always make me thing of waves too!
ReplyDeleteMy DH would love your DH's taste in peppers! Love how you rocked these challenges, Kim. What a perfect card for that Colour Me photo.
ReplyDeleteYou've made such fun waves using your die and different colored papers. This card is totally adorable, Kim!
ReplyDeleteWoah! Amazing! Love how you layered the die cuts and sometimes left a few of the pieces in place so the layering would look even better. Great, great job! Thank you for playing along with us at Colour Me…! this week!

ReplyDeleteThe garden looks great! I don't see any weeds!! Your man must be working over time - that's a big job! I loved this card when I saw it on facebook. The die cut waves are awesome - very creative way to use that die!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, ADORABLE!!! Such a fun card with so many fun layers :) Thanks so much for taking the time to share with us this week at Colour Me...! Sure hope to see you back again soon!!!
ReplyDeletehe's sooooo cute!!
ReplyDeleteOooh, those wavy ombre layers are awesome, Kim ... so perfect with that cutie pie whale! What an awesome garden ... all those veggies look so luscious! We have a few bits and pieces, but nothing as impressive as yours ... all the result of lots of hard work, no doubt! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteYay, I don't have to eat my crazy looms!!!! Congratulations on being a 'Connoisseur' at the Colour Me! Challenge.
ReplyDeleteI love this card--you are right that those die cuts make fantastic waves. I like how some are fully punched out and some are not. And, your whale is super cute. I love Dwight's garden, too. Good to see that he is keeping himself busy while you are working and stamping.
ReplyDeleteFun card--love those awesome waves! Great looking garden too! Yeah to Dwight for creating such a beauty!
ReplyDeleteYour card is pure dazzle and delight with the fabulous waves and cutie-patootie whale! Hmmm...I think I have that fanfare die...obviously neglected in my collection (seriously, I need to take inventory one of these days!). You've sparked ideas already! As for the garden: luscious and delicious! I had a garden when I was a 'city' girl and loved every minute I spent in it. Where we live now (townhouse complex) we don't have the opportunity. Dream: a small acreage. Dreaming...
