Happy Wednesday and welcome to the next challenge at The Card Concept. The theme for the challenge is Back to School and I took my inspiration from the apples in the photo. When I think of school, I always think of apples, don't you? I love this time of year, cooler weather, time for school, fall is right around the corner and Halloween is very close. For this challenge my card is for the Clean & Simple style. I had the help of Lucy (my silhouette) to cut out my apple, very simple. I hope you will find the time to play along with us and look forward to seeing your fabulous creations.

Love this apple Kim! Great teacher card......love the elegant simple layers...well, maybe not simple to make.
ReplyDeleteYes, fall does evoke those very images you've described, in the same way that school = apples. I don't think any of my teachers ever received apples from me; I don't recall any apples heading my way over allllllllllll my years of teaching. Still...the connection is so delightful - as is this card of yours! Clean, simple and fabulous!!

So simple and so perfectly CAS, love it!! I wonder when the whole apple/teacher thing started?? Such an iconic simple for a wonderful teacher. Maybe I should have given some of my teachers some apples and then maybe I would have had better grades.........
ReplyDeleteKim this is a wonderful fun CAS take on the concept inspiration.
