  5. Such a shame I ran out of time to play in this challenge, the colours are gorgeous. You know I love all that white on your card and the die-cut in those colours is perfect. Wish I could start every week with cookies. I've never made Gingerbread Men but did make Ninja-bread Men last year. Very hard to ice a Ninja costume believe me!!! Bet the kids will love them!

  6. Fab card, Kim. I love the way you've inlaid all those colours in the die cuts, great idea. I think I may have to get baking, my tummy's rumbling now! Thanks so much for playing along at Colour Me...!

  8. Kim I love those beautiful inlaid butterflies and the inlaid border edge adds great definition. I love the little touches of sequins and sparkle too - they soften a beautifully clean and crisp CAS card. Great use of this week's challenge colous - thanks for joining us over at Colour Me...! this week.

  10. Oh. My. Goodness. This card is now in the #1 position on my "Favorite Kim Cards" list! Seriously stunning! This color comobo is gorgeous, but it's what you did with those colors that made me gasp out loud! Wowzers....amazing!!!

Is this a single die or did you just overlap the dies as you cut?

    1. Miss Geri, it is one die and it is from Simon Says Stamp. They have several dies that over lap like that.

  11. You had me at the gingerbread cookies (how sweet you are to the pre-schoolers), but then I scrolled down and discovered BUTTERFLIES! A kaleidoscope of butterflies....SWOONING! I love making Christmas cards, but my butterflies are calling my name!

  13. Love how you used this die. AND...I didn't realize you were a preschool teacher! I love you even more now. :) The majority of my work as an SLP was in preschools. I have such a soft spot for them. PS Our night time books with my kiddos are always by theme and we did gingerbread at the same time as you. :) My son was loving the books, and I wanted to make gingerbread, but I've never made it before. I'd love your recipe if you don't mind sharing.
