Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday #215

It has literally been forever since I have played along with PTI's Make It Monday. I loved this week's challenge and could not wait to get started. Playing with their Petite Places stamps and dies are so fun to use (MISTI makes all the difference in the world in stamping). I could not think of anything to stamp on my card front so I embossed it.

I had a fun day...met my daughter and sister for lunch, had some yummy Mexican food at The Tortilla Factory in Newark and then came home and got busy on some sewing I want to do.  I cut out 2 blouses and 1 apron, I did some fabric shopping last week in Berkeley...I will be sure to share when they are finished.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy the rest of your week!

And the way the scene peeks through the embossed base adds so much interest and texture. Darling card; love it! Can't wait to see your creations with the fabric - do keep us posted my friend. 25. Awwwwww...this is just too cute Kim!! Love the colors you used too! I bought this set too but have yet to use it. I think the size intimidates me being so small, but I love how you used it and will have to file this idea away! And have fun sewing! I thought I was the only one who liked to sew anymore, but I admit most of mine is for my granddaughter and not myself. Love your fabrics though, and just may have to try making something for myself!! :0)
