ColourQ #309 and Retro Sketches #182

Hello...it's Tuesday and time for another fabulous color palette from ColourQ #309. These colors are so perfect for a guy and I needed a birthday card for a co-worker so this worked out perfectly. I hope you will find the time to play along with us this week, can't wait to see your incredible creations with these amazing colors.

I have a second card to share for the current challenge at Retro Sketches. I love these fabulous Birds of Paradise from MFT and I have to admit it was even fun to color. I went out of the lines a wee bit so I hid that part under part of his cage. Lucy my Silhouette helped me out with the cage, I really like the looks of it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your week!

  7. Your first card is perfectly masculine. I seldom use bright colors for a manly card, but that's a great idea. Your second card is a combo of cute, elegant and CAS, so adorable and fun!

  11. You must have the most wonderful collection of embossing folders. Both of these backgrounds are incredible, especially the hexagon shapes. Love your little birdie in his cage. He's so bright and colourful, especially against all that yummy white!!

  12. Love, love, love the clean, tidy design on your first card! Surprised? You know that your card has me smiling all over my face!

Second card....even bigger smile! This is so cute! Love how the bright colors pop with the black and white. Nice to know that I'm not alone in the 'coloring OUTSIDE the lines" department! Great save with the bird cage wires!
