Good morning...August is coming to an end and that means it's time for our group post for August's edition of 12 Kits. This months hostess is the incredibly talented Birgit from Crafting While I Wait and she has invited a guest to join us, Kara from Kara Lynne's Card Designs. Birgit's kit included so many wonderful goodies, from fairies to mermaids! Be sure to hop along to see what magical creations have been made! The link to our 12 Kits blog is here.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your day!
Ohhhhhhhh these are fabulous!! LOVING the color choices!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable, adorable cards Kim! I love the color scheme you went with. The colors go perfectly with every image. The tiny fairies paired with the fuschia's is so sweet!! I think I have some fuschia's left over from another kit so I'll be digging them out to do something similar. Thanks for the inspiration my friend!!
ReplyDeleteKim it's easy to see that little Mermaid was the favorite of Birgit's darling kit! I love her as a red-head! and, with your love of all things Disney, knew you'd have such a fun time with Tinkerbell, and every bit of this fairy tale of a kit! Well done, my friend!
ReplyDelete=]
So darn sweet, every one. Kim, the plump fairy on her tiptoes is adorable, and I love the way you added the sentiment. The dragon and mermaid come in a close second, and I love the way you added fairies to your window garden! So you're a Disney fan? We have to get together and swap stories. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI love your darling cards, Kim! I have a new appreciation for what you ladies do each month! Your cards balance the sentiments and the images beautifully! How fun to see the colorful sparkle come off Edna's wand, making that yummy cupcake appear! Your dragon reminds me of Pete's dragon, and your mermaid of Ariel - Go Disney, All the Way!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim! Beautiful cards! I love the pieced message on the card with Edna and the dragon looks like it's flying.. that little puff of smoke from his mouth! :P My favorite is your pretty mermaid who looks like she's swimming under the deep blue sea! She looks like Ariel!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun kit and your cards are terrific, Kim!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely cards!! I love how you cut up the message on the first card. Your mermaid background is fantastic. Great card design!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent cards! I love the fuchsia card - the sponged green behind the flowers is amazing and the arched window - what a pretty die cut! They're all lovely!
ReplyDeleteI like that you kept the same color palette flowing through all of your designs! These are just wonderful Kim. Is that Arielle I spy! The little dragon with her purple wings is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, Kim! Love your colors! The sparkle around Edna's wand and the pieced sentiment looks great. And the tiny fairies with your fuchsias are a perfect touch. Love the wonderful background for your mermaid. I think we all really fell in love with her.
ReplyDeleteIt’s always fun to see what you’ve made with the kits. These are so all so feminine and beautiful. My favorite is the dragon one. I like how the image and sentiment make up two panels, tied together by the purple background.

ReplyDeleteAll 4 are simply beautiful,fun and made me smile! Love the mermaid and blooms from my kit(I think) . Enjoy all your sporting event Kim...you sure get around,lol!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful quartet of cute cards(I think the mermaid _might_ be my favorite, bu that dragon was pretty sweet too!) I like the looks you've created using the kit. The greens & purples made such a nice color combination too, and one I'd not think to use. TFS & Hugs.
ReplyDeleteKim, these are all so wonderful, cute, and fun! I love that yours are color coordinated...mine ended up hardly looking like they were from the same kit at all. I love them all but am particularly fond of your dragon card. He's just so cute and I love his little spots!
ReplyDeleteWow--these are all so darn cute, Kim!
