Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #271 Embossing

 

Happy New Year and Happy Monday! Wishing you all an incredible and crafty 2018. My card is for the new challenge at Merry Monday and Linda choose embossing for this week's challenge #271. I pulled out this Christmas embossing folder, backed on some glitter gold, and then added some candy cane ribbon and done. Very quick and easy. Wish so much going on after Christmas I decided to keep it as simple as can be. I hope you will find some time to play along with us this week. Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #74 & CAS-ual Fridays #29

I am pretty new to WMS but have fallen head over heels in love with them.  This will be my fourth card made for one of their challenges, this one is a sketch challenge.  I only own two WM stamp sets, one Christmas and the other is a background set.  Both are just beautiful but really limit the cards I can make for these challenges.  Good thing it is Christmas season, so I am safe for a little while. 
My favorite stamp from Santa's Coming to Town is the Santa cameo and I have used it every chance I could. I also love glitter and made my own red sparkle letters using Quikutz dies and then ran them through my little Xyron, sprinkled them with glitter and there you have it! It makes a bit of a mess but well worth it in my opinion.  So here is my Santa card...thanks for taking a peek!

This card is serving two different challenges, Waltzingmouse and CAS-ual Fridays.  I love it when I am able to get one card made for two challenges, such a fun bonus.
