DoubleClick Skittles #28 - Use Food

I have one card to share with you...it is for the current challenge over at DoubleClick Skittles - Use Food on your card (not real food, ok). I pulled out Foodie Fun from PTI  and used the sweet ice cream cup, I even added a bit of glossy accents to the ice cream and a few skittles for good measure. It was quick and fun to make too. I hope you will find the time to play along with us this week. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your week!

Papertrey Ink April 2013 Blog Hop and ColourQ #186

Blog-hop-logo
The 25th of the month means it is time for Papertrey Ink's Blog Hop and this month's theme is anything "tilted", I have some friends that fit that description too and they both know who they are! Just kidding...this seems to be one of the trends right now and my card was so much fun to make and I am so happy with how it turned out! I used Comfort Food from PTI for my card and used the spoons as the tilted portion. I love the VersaMark/color ink and heat emboss technique and love the color of my ice cream carton, looks like strawberry to me.
To make my card work for PTI's blog hop and ColourQ Challenge 186 I used the colors for this weeks ColourQ challenge, they are so bright and cheerful, so perfect for springtime. Thank you so much for stopping by to peek at my card...have a wonderful day!

Take 3 - Repeats & Rainbows Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday

Ok, last card for the night and I think my last card for this week's challenge for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday.  This is an awesome challenge and like I said on my Take 2 post, I will be using this idea again and again, there are just so many incredible possibilities.  I thumbed through my stamp bins looking for something to use to make this last card and decided to use Foodie Fun, I needed a thank you card for our new Pastor's wife. We have a new Pastor at our church and his wife Pam loves to cook so she decided she wanted to make every staff member at our school/church dinner.  We don't have that big of a staff but that is still a major undertaking.  She made a huge pot of homemade macaroni and cheese that was so yummy and made my night easy since all I had to do was heat it up.  I wanted to make a special thank you and thought this challenge card would be perfect.  I used rainbow #4 for this card but since the card was not wide enough for  5 pots, the end ones hang over the edge and so I used those two colors for the ribbon and ink to sort of make up for it.  Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and take a peek at my card.
