Hello....popping back in today with 2 cards. First one up is for Happy Little Stampers - Off The Edge. I pulled out Destinations Texas stamps from Hero Arts. My daughter just spent 2 weeks there visiting her best friend in Texas and I wanted to sent her family a thank you card.

Next up is my card for Papertrey Ink's The Great Cover-Up Mix and match stamps and dies.

I pulled out Best Birthday Balloon Dies, Birthday Cheer Dies, and Two Toned stamps for the wee trio of stars. I heat embossed the stars in white.

Hello...popping in with my card to celebrate New Year's with for Happy Little Stampers December 2017 CAS Challenge. I love this stamp, bought it from Stampin' Up years ago, thought this would be the perfect card to use it on. I added a bit of sparkle since it is New Year's, you always nice a bit of glitter and sparkle to celebrate. I had the chance to visit Joyce from Cards By the Sea earlier this month and got to play with all her new stuff, so much fun. I always look forward to stamping with Joyce each summer. Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge - Blend

Hello....I have one card to share today for the new challenge at Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge - Blend. I used Tim Holtz Distress inks to make the water on my card, blending 3 colors together to get the color I was happy with. 

I made this card for my co-teacher, we found out last week that the school we teach at will be closing at the end of this school year, June 1st after being open for 67 years. I have taught here for 15 years, so this is a very sad time for all of us but on the bright side I am old enough to retire where my co-teacher is not. The two of us have worked together for the past 12 years so it is hard to imagine not having her to teach and laugh with, we have had an incredible time working with all these sweet little children.

Happy Little Stampers - CAS January 2017 and Inspirational #125

Hello....Happy New Year! Wishing you all the very best for 2017. I have one card to share today for the new CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers. I don't use stencils all that much but when I do, it reminds me that I do like playing with them. I pulled out my star stencil from MFT and added some silver Delicata ink for the stars and then heat embossed the magic sentiment with Ranger Silver Embossing Powder. My daughter happened to walk into my craft room when I was heat embossing and she was so impressed, calling it magic.

Happy Little Stampers - December CAS 2016

Hello....this month we get to choose our favorite technique card from this past year. I went with my masking card (link to my original post here), I love using the distress inks and the incredible look it created when masked and these sweet little fish from Avery Elle make it even that much more fun.
