Happy Monday...It's time again for a new challenge at Merry Monday Christmas Card Club #285 and this week our wonderful hostess is Nina and she choose using ribbon as our theme. I pulled out some 12 kit leftovers from a few back to make my card. I love these wonderful trees covered with snow! I added a deer, gave her a pink nose, maybe she is Rudolph's girlfriend? ColourQ #269 and Papertrey Ink's November Blog Hop

Hello...only 2 more days until Thanksgiving Day, I am so looking forward to a nice yummy turkey! My second card is for the Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop...it has been a few months since I have played along and this was a fun one that I did not want to miss out on. I am using another NBUS, Jolly Holiday from PTI, such a festive stamp set, so happy I decided it was one I needed. I know my trees are a little hard to see but they look just beautiful in person. I am having a wonderful time hanging out in my craft room, having the week off is going to be so much fun. My sweet hubby and daughter put up our Christmas tree so it is really starting to feel like the holidays. And if you took a look at my craft room you would think the same.

Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday #91 Faux Pockets

I don't think I have ever had my card ready this soon after seeing what the Papertrey Ink's MIM technique was...I guess having the day off and being up early helps a bit too. I'm on a roll too, this is the first time I have been able to do a MIM card two weeks in a row! As soon as I finished watching the video the wheels in my brain began to spin and I started pulling out stamps and paper and what a mess but I am so happy with the finished card and I think I will make a few more. This is such a fun and very quick technique to use and looks like you spent way more time than it really takes.  Have a wonderful day and thanks for taking a peek.
