The Card Concept - 19

Happy Wednesday! Hope your week is going well so far. I have one card to share with you today and it is for the new challenge at The Card Concept #19 and the challenge is a color challenge and the colors are fabulous and so perfect for this time of year. Don't you just love them! I used both the colors and the photo for inspiration but I really struggled on the layering for my card. My style of card for this challenge is clean and layered, I think I got the clean portion and to make it layered I used 3 leaves glued together to give it some dimension. Hope you will find the time to play along, I so love seeing all your beautiful cards. Before I forget, I am using a new Happy Thanksgiving stamp so I am posting my card on Darnell's NBUS challenge. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy the rest of your week!

Waltzingmouse Pajama Party

It has been way too long time since I have pulled out my Waltzingmouse stamps, and with their pajama party, it was the perfect opportunity. They have 4 challenges going on and I have a card/tag for each one.

My first card is for the Doodle Do challenge, where you do some doodling on your lettering. I used my NBUS set from WM, Tis the Season, stamped it in red and pulled out a silver pen for a bit of bling.

My second card is Too Cute to Spook, you pull out stamps to make a kid friendly Halloween card. In my opinion, WM makes some of the best Halloween stamps out there, so many fun and creepy images to play with.

The third challenge was to pull out some "old pajama's" for Christmas. I decided to make a tag for this one and used Santa's Coming To Town stamps. I love the Santa head image.

Their final challenge is Bedtime Story and using a sketch and I decided to balance things out, I have two Christmas projects and needed one more Halloween, so my final card is using the sketch for a Halloween card.

All 3 of my cards are made using some NBUS, stamps on the first 2 cards and paper on the final card, so I will entering these in Darnell's challenge, you can find the link here to play along.

Yipppeee, it is Friday and that means the weekend is almost here. My new job has me on my feet just about all day, I end up walking between 3-5 miles just at work (thanks to my fitbit for keeping track) so I am looking forward to a nice, low key weekend. I have one card to share today and it is for the current challenge at Simply Create Too, Show Us Something New, and I  hope you find the time to play along with us. Darnell (I know you all know who she is) is having another NBUS challenge at her blog so my cards fits her challenge too. When I was visiting Joyce I had the chance to play with her new stamps from PTI, Beautiful Brushstrokes, what a fabulous stamp set it is and I love playing with the rainstones too. Dynamic Duo's #59, Mojo Monday #300, CAS-ual Fridays #107 and NBUS

Happy Tuesday...a few more cards to share today. This is what happens when I am off for the summer, lots of crafting time.  My first card is my second for this week's Dynamic Duo's #59 and the first one for CAS-ual Friday #107. Gray is another color I do not use much but have to say that I am really loving it, so that is why I made a second card.  I am using a NBUS on this card, the Live, Love and Life stamp set from PTI and a few little sequins to add a little pop to my card.  I CASe'd one of Dawn's cards and you can see it here.  It was so much fun to make, I don't usually like the graphic type stamps but this has really grown on me.
