Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #268

Hello...it' s Monday and time again for a new challenge up at Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #268 and this week's theme is using a Santa hat. I decided to dust of Lucy, my silhouette and cut out this sweet little penguin, complete with a Santa hat, he was so much fun to make. I have been collecting card stock from the Paper Source store (their paper cuts like a dream on my silhouette), I have lots more fun things planned to cut! I hope you will find some time to play along this week, can't wait to see your Santa hats!
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by....enjoy your week!

Serendipity #25 - Shaped Cards

Only 10 more days until Christmas...shopping and wrapping are finished, just need to get the cards in the mail and some cookies baked (we will do those next weekend), so other than popping a few gifts in the mail, we are ready for Santa to make his visit.  I know you are all very busy this time of year so I will keep this short and sweet.  I only have one card to share today and it is for the current challenge over at Serendipity stamps and the theme is "shaped cards" and I do realize that my card is not really a shape other than a rectangle but I just had to put these sweet little penguins on a sweater, so my shape is a sweater, and I have few extra photos to share too....Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and peek at my cards....have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

Lefty ODoul's
Last night was Santa Con Pub Crawl in San Francisco - there were more Santa's in this city last night than you can even imagine...some folks worn elf costumes, other were snowmen...just so much fun.  I could not convince my family and friends to wear costumes this year other than Santa hats, so I will work on them for next year, so wish me luck.

Our tree this year....

Muse #38 and Serendipity #21 - Paper Piecing

Wow...this week is zipping by! I have two more cards to share for today so this will be another quick post. My cards are for Muse and Serendipity, I have not played along with Serendipity for sometime and when I saw it was paper piecing I wanted to play along.  I have this adorable penguin set from them that is just too cute and thought it would be fun to make them some new scarves....

My second card is for Muse...Therese Calvird shared a stunning card for inspiration this week.
