Dynamic Duo's #70 and Curtain Call - Sunflower Surprise and just for fun...

I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend...mine was pretty quiet, made cards with my mom on Saturday and lunch with friends on Sunday and lots and lots of crafting time.  My card for today is for 2 challenges, Dynamic Duo's #70 and Curtain Call - Sunflowers...I am so happy that I had a sunflower set! I used last week's Muse card design to make my card, I fell in love with it but did not have the time to make a card to play with so I am using it now. My second card is just for fun. I love Halloween and one of Ashleigh's friends loves it as much as I do so I have to make a special card just for her.  The stamp I used is the only stamp from Wanda's Pantry that I have never inked up so it was fun.  I even had Ashleigh ink her fingers with VersaMark ink and put some red embossed powder to give the look of bloody finger prints (thanks Renee for the idea).  Hope she likes it. Happy Saturday once again....I have two more cards to share tonight and each card will go to the challenges listed above.  Thanks to my friend Joyce, the challenge queen...she always knows all the current challenges.  I decided that all the cards I made today were going to use stamps that have never seen any ink, so much fun playing with new goodies, even if they have been hanging around for some time.  

My first card is for this week's PTI - Make it Monday, Dynamic Duo's, Freshly Made Sketches and CAS-ual Fridays.  My inspiration for this card is this week's color combination from Dynamic Duo's, pink and brown look so beautiful together!

My second card is for PTI - Make it Monday and CAS-ual Fridays challenges.  This was my first take at using the banner/flag trend, so fun to do and the possibilities are endless.  I used the Heart-2-Heart stamp set with the sweet sun and a few clouds from PTI dies...I needed a rainbow to go with them and used Doodlebug Take Note patterned paper for my rainbow flags, I love the way my card turned out.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by for a peek at my cards....enjoy the rest of your weekend!
