I have to say that I just love it when I can make one card for more than one challenge. This card is for
Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday #71 - Bordered Sentiments and
Dynamic Duos #17 - Melon Mambo & Black with Ribbon. I decided against the ribbon on this card, really no where to put it without making the card look odd. My daughter and I love to go to rock concerts...so I made this card with her in mind with the exception of the pink, this is NOT her color. I wanted it to work for both of these challenges and used it any way. It was lots of fun to make and both of these stamps sets are among my favorite sets to use. Thanks for taking a peek.
Ingredients
Solid Card Stock: PTI - White and Hibiscus Burst
Patterned Paper: PTI - Black
Stamps: Grunge Me and Rock On
Ink: PTI - Hibiscus Burst and VersaFine - Black
You cracked me up with the "not a pink girl" comment...my girl is totally pink! Love these guitars and the grungy feel to the card. It isnso nice that you and your daughter have the concerts in common, I wouldn't last 5 minutes listening to any of Carly's music! I envy you.
ReplyDeleteKim, you rock. I love this card and I love how you tackled MIM and used the Duos colours. I am the girl at the rock concert dressed in pink!
ReplyDeleteI love love love that you used these stamp sets with this technique!!! So cool!!! :)
