I know we are late this month...first due the super storm Sandy and then next I am late too because I can never seem to get my days and time zones right. I decided to make my self a cup of coffee and sit down at my computer to get some what caught up on leaving comments and saw that the rest of the bunch posted their cards at the correct time.
October's hostess was Jessica, from The Paper Parade and wow, what a kit! She out did herself, just like the rest of the group. Again, it was fun playing with goodies that I don't have...Jessica is an amazing paper crafter and works such magic with Paper Smooches, they have fun whimsical designs that are just so much fun...be sure to scan Jessica's blog for all of her wonderful creations, you will be blown away.

I was just going to check on you, to see what was going on, and am relieved to see that you have got your post up. Nothing more serious than a case of time conversion mix up. Anyway, your cards are just wonderful--I can see that you had such fun with this kit. I love how you have the Christmas tree with that Christmas tree paper, sweet red noses on those reindeer, and very fun way to use that candy paper. All your cards are just such fun.
ReplyDeleteIt is always such a joy to see your card creations Kim, you have such a knack at putting the right things together to create a fantastic card. I love your polaroid, your choice of papers and your use of the twine. Pinning them all.
ReplyDeleteI think your polaroid with the tree hanging over the edge is fantastic! The "few bucks" card.....that sentiment gets me every time. Looks like you had a lot of fun with Jessica's kit and pairing of all the fabulous papers she sent!
ReplyDeleteThese are so darn cute! I think my favorite is the Fleas Navidad card, such a great sentiment and stamp!
ReplyDeleteAwesome collection of cards, Kim! Love your tree card! There's so much great dimension. You've really did a fantastic job with the images and patterned paper. And those reindeer are so adorable with their red noses--a card that would make anyone smile!
ReplyDeleteNo worries, Kim, I messed up on the time, too, LOL! Thanks for the compliments :) You did such an awesome job on the kit this month! My favorites are the polaroid and the snowman with the hexagons, although it was very hard to choose...they all just ooze cuteness!
ReplyDeleteI am just glad I am not the only one who gets the dates and time zones wrong. I thought maybe you were too sick , glad that is not the case.
ReplyDeleteI will jump to my favoriate…. the Joy card is gorgeous love the way you tied the twine and added the snowflakes and large button. They are all beautiful and nice to see you felt well enough to make so many. Great job!
The cards are just adorable. Impossible for me to pick a favorite--they are all too cute!!
ReplyDeleteKim, you did such a beautiful job with the papers and images! My favorite is that sweet little tree in the frame with the colorful patterned paper behind it. I love the sprinkling of pearls and the wrapped twine on the second one, and the way you left the images uncolored or selectively colored on the last three really lets the patterned papers shine!
ReplyDeleteKim a fabulous job with everything this month...
ReplyDeleteI love the blinged tree in the polaroid frame!! :)
And that fabby snowman...
they're all so great!!
And knowing you weren't even feeling well on top...
if I were feeling bad I would have made a gigantic mess and people would have questioned my use of drugs! :)
Feel better!!
Hugs!! :)
I am not much into reading, but somehow I got to read lots of articles on your blog. Its amazing how interesting it is for me to visit you very often...Rinoplasti

Kim, my jaw hit the floor when I saw how you layered the snow drifts inside the frame with that tree!!!! I LOVE that and am so glad I've got all the bits to case it. I also love the juicy pink button on the second one, as well as all the perfect embellishments on the others.
ReplyDeleteYou just took over my pinned favorites tonight. These are extraordinary. Love the tree with the layered snow, "fleas navidad" - please, LMAO! I've seen it before, but love how you did it and that buck card ... a hoot. You rocked this kit, Kim!
ReplyDeleteLove your cards!! Love the snowman's buttons!! Love the tree theme on your first card too!!
