A few more cards for today...

Two more cards for today...the first one is for this weeks Merry Monday #55, Tic Tac Toe and I took to the bottom row. It was a quick and easy card to make and I just love the way it turned out.  I think this is the cutest Santa stamp I have ever seen, it was a gift from one of my blog friends, Cathy from Empty Nest Crafter. He is just so jolly looking.

My second card is for this weeks Retro Sketch #57. It has been a few weeks since I have played along and I forgot how fun it is to take their sketch and turn it into my own.  I am thinking a bit ahead and made my card for Father's Day, my husband loves to fish more than just about anything else so I thought this would be just perfect for him. I used a stamp that is from a stamp class my sister I took what seems like a 100 years ago. She bought the stamp and then passed it down to me, it works great with all of these lures.

  1. Love them both. That santa card is just CAS perfection. Love the red and green, and how the sentiment and his image overlap just a smidge. Your fish card is a brilliant take on that retro sketch. So many fun elements, and perfect for a fisherman.
