CAS-ual Fridays #100 and Muse #16

I have a few new dies cuts from my friend Joyce (Cards-by-the-Sea) sent me an envelope full of wonderful goodies. My favorite of the bunch is this Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco is my favorite place to be! As soon as I held that die in my hand I knew what I would do with it, so happy to say that I have one more to play with. I have not played along with CAS-ual Fridays challenges for sometime and I had to make my card work. This is their 2nd birthday and 100th challenge, so it is party time! You still have some time to play along and I love that this challenge is a tic-tac-toe, so much fun.  My tic-tac-toe is diagonal, upper right corner to the bottom left corner. The inside reads - May This Year be Your Best Ever - Happy Birthday.

My second card is for this week's Muse challenge and Laurie from Soapbox Creations made a fabulous card for inspiration this week and her timing is just perfect, the school year will be coming to an end soon and a card like this will come in handy. I had this "ruler" ribbon for some time now, Joyce was so sweet and sent it to me. She was up in my neck of the woods a while back and made her way to my favorite place for ribbon, Britex Fabrics. I was saving this ribbon for the perfect card and I think I finally found it. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by to peek at my cards....have a wonderful day!

  1. Well you already know how I feel about your bridge card. I love it so much I want to marry it. Can I marry a card? What is the law about marriage between a woman and a card? I am so happy I have that die, because I am going to make me some cards with it, just like yours. And, your second card--just the cutest case. I had forgotten about that ribbon--good thing you remembered it--it is absolutely perfect on that card.

  2. It's intimidating to follow you in the thumbnails for these challenges, Kim! Your cards are absolute winners! I'm blown away!

That GGB die is amazing! I had no idea such a die existed, let alone that Joyce had one and that makes me even more tickled that I used that old stamp on my card for her. But that die, wow.

AND, I've never seen ruler ribbon before either! It takes a teacher to make the perfect teacher card. Seriously, blew my socks off with these two!!
