Colourq #189 and Muse #17 Challenges

I have two cards to share today that I made last night. I fell in love with the colors for this week's Colourq challenge colors, they all went together so well. In fact I had a dream about this card so it was easy to make. I really struggled on the size of the rooster and was sharing this dilemma with a sweet friend of mine and it became a PG-13 or R rated conversation and had me on the floor laughing! I will not share the story but will say it still has me giggling.  It was so excited to see that I actually had the right color ink too, Coral Calypso from SU, so fun to match.

My second card is for Muse and the inspiration card by Therese Calvird, it is just too sweet with her adorable elephants standing on top of one another. When I saw her card it reminded me of these cute little elephant stickers that have been floating around my craft room for many years. I was not sure what to do with them but they were too cute to toss. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by and peek at my cards...have a wonderful day!

  2. Both are wonderful cards, Kim! I hate to say that I can pretty much guess what the rooster story was about--sassy! Love the sunrise and the window in your first card, and the little elephants are adorable. Both are really fun cards. Bev

  6. These are both terrific cards. Your first one is absolutely brilliant, and, like I said before, I want to marry it--I am getting married a lot these days. I don't know how I missed out on the randy rooster conversation, though. And, your stacked elephant card is just too cute. What a perfect baby card.

  11. Wow! Two gorgeous cards! I love how you used the ColorQ colors (which totally stumped me!) to create your pretty window scene. The three wee brads in the top corner of the window pane are absolutely the perfect touch!

Aren't you glad that you didn't toss the cute elephant stickers? Sure does justify keeping all these treasures for those "what if I need and elephant sticker" moments! Sweet colors...especially love the bling!
