Retro Sketches #73 and Little Tangles #17 - Into the Woods

Happy Tuesday...hope everyone is having a fabulous week! I have 2 cards to share today, one for RetroSketches and one for Little Tangles, this is my first time playing with Neat & Tangled.  I am also happy to say that both of my cards have one of more NBUS too.  So much fun pulling out the new goodies. My first card is for RetroSketches #73 and as soon as I saw this week's sketch I knew I needed to make a baseball card and crossed my fingers that no one else came up with the same idea.  Since I am a SF Giants fan I decided to go with their color scheme, black and orange.

My next card is for this week's Little Tangles - Into the Woods.  I only have a few of their stamps and we so happy to see that one of them was wood grain.  I decided to use it to make a tree and cut the branches using Lucy, but the tree looked a bit bare so I pulled out resting birds die from MB and that seemed to do the trick.  The background paper is from Pebbles, Walnut Grove, I loved the look of the banners strung up behind my tree.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my cards...have a wonderful week!

  1. These are both awesome. I am so far behind, that I hadn't even seen that retro sketches. But, when I looked at the sketch, I know why you made the card you did. So cute, and Go Giants. I'll bet you have a list of people who compete to get this card. And, your Little Tangles card is just so cute and perfect for the challenge. I love that tree you made, and you picked the perfect background patterned paper.
