Happy Monday...today has been a fabulous day so far. I met up with Darnell and Harriet for lunch, and once home I decided to bake a batch of cinnamon chip scones, now talk about an amazing aroma! They just came out of the oven and I can't wait for them to cool off enough to give one of them a try. I love this time of year, the baking, the smells, the coolness in the air and a good sappy Christmas movie or two while crafting. My card today is for the current challenge #23 over at Serendipity Stamps and the theme is to use your scraps and I know we all have lots and lots of those. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by to peek at my card....wishing all the Veteran's a wonderful day and thank you for all that you have done to make our country a safe and free place to live.
How did you get the stitch marks around the edges?
ReplyDeleteDonna, it is from the largest die from Lil Inker's Stitched Rectangles. It embosses instead of cuts.
DeleteThis is adorable Kim! Great use of those scraps and those cupcakes look yummy! I wish I was in your kitchen to take in the wonderful aroma of those scones! They sound totally delicious! Glad to have you back playing with us this week at Serendipity!
ReplyDeleteBaking in real life and cupcakes on your card--what a sweet day you have had. Super way to use up scraps, and I think that the little red embellie on the cupcake is like the cherry on top of a great card.
