Two cards for Sunday....


Happy Sunday....today is a quiet day here, just the way I like them.  I have brownies in the oven and the house smells so yummy, a fabulous aroma for card making.  I have two cards to share today, one for this week's Muse #42, Laurie has a wonderful card for this week's inspiration so I did not want to pass this one up. I used Lucy for my ampersand, so fun to have her work at a moments notice.

My second card is for the current challenge over at The Alley Ways Stamps, Be Inspired #41...I could not pass up the polka dot inspiration photo, I adore polka dots, they are so fun! I fussy cut this cute little bug and popped him up just a bit too. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my cards....have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

    Kim, I know you don't like chocolate, but the smell of chocolate must be very inspiring, because these cards are both fantastic. I love your first card--that silver paper is so perfect as an ampersand--your card has the perfect mix of elegance and whimsy. And, your second card is just darling. Cute polka dotted bug--a person might not mind being sick if the bug were this cute.

    Always & forever...so beautifully funky! I think it is the way you mixed the fonts on the sentiment, especially love the flashy ampersand!

    The polka bug is just too darn cute! What a great way to interpret the challenge photo! Probably the sweetest little virus guy I have ever seen!

    Your gotta bug card has me crackin' up!!! I have at one time or another looked like that when my allergies are on high alert !! Lovin' the polka dots!! :) :) :)

    I'm totally calling a winner on the Muse challenge, Kim - WOW! Lucy's shiny ampersand is awesome and I adore how you have showcased it!! And your polka dot bug is a winner to me, as well.
