Can you believe it is almost the end of 2013 and another year of The 12 Kits is behind us after today's post. This month our hostess with the hostess is Jessica from the Paper Parade. Jessica sent out the most amazing kit...so many wonderful papers, dies, embellishments and even some stamps! I made 8 cards and to be honest I still have enough leftovers to make another 8 plus cards.
We have some sad news, this will be Amy's from Stamp-n-Paradise final month with us at 12 Kits, she will be missed to much. I wish you all the best in whatever you do, you are such amazing crafter/card maker and I know we will all be seeing lots of your fabulous creations in blogland. But the good news is, Jeanne from A Kept Life will be back playing with us again in 2014. So welcome back Jeanne! Another fun twist to this month is that Sharron our January Host is offering an extra kit to one lucky commenter on our 12 Kits blog. So good luck and I can't wait to see who will be playing along with us in January.
Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my cards...be sure to head over to The 12 Kits of Occasions blog to see who the lucky winner is and the rest of our groups creations, I know they will all be amazing! Happy New Year to all of you!
This is my favorite of the bunch...I stamped snowflakes using the background stamp that Jessica provided in VersaMark and heat embossed with clear powder, I just love this sweet little bunny!
totally adorable cards!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Great cards, Kim! I love the owl card with the great backgrounds! So cute.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards!! I think you made as many as I did..lol! It was so easy with this great kit, huh?
ReplyDeleteLove them all!!
I love your favorite too! Such a sweet card! Did you have the die for that bunny? I love the little tree and cute snowman too. You sure made lots of beautiful cards again this month Kim!
ReplyDeleteWhat darling cards. They are all so cute.
ReplyDeleteWow Kim....these cards are amazing! I am always so inspired when I see what you have created from your monthly kit of goodies! I cannot imagine being able to come up with all these ideas when faced with a 'stack' of stash! Your amazing creativity rocks!
ReplyDeleteTotally loving the Christmas cardigan card!
What a fabulous collection of cards Kim - not sure I can pick a favorite, but the snowflakes on the polka dots might be the one (love the twine on it too)!
ReplyDeleteDarling sweater with the white trim! I love them all especially the owl inside the tree. So cute.
ReplyDeleteOh, these are all incredible. I just love seeing what you do with the exact same ingredients as me. Of course, I think the owl and the bunny are my faves. And, I love what you did with that red die cut Christmas. That one stumped me for a long time.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Where to begin - you busy little bee!! Going to start with my fave - the bunny with the embossed background - I LOVE HIM!! So many good things here - love the layers and mix of patterns and colors for the hills - even on the reindeer! You totally nailed this Kim! Wonderful accents - each one has a little scene that is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteThat has to be the cutest sweater I have ever seen...love the red/white combo and the cute blue bird on it. I also really love that reindeer card with the snow banks done in white and kraft. Great idea to use patterned papers for the snowbanks with your bunny on a sled card...Joyce did that too and I loved it!
ReplyDeleteOK...you and Joyce!
ReplyDeleteYou can tell the two of you have so much fun with these kits...
and this was a fun kit...
so many great elements Jessica included with this one!
I love them all...
they're all fabulous! :)
Happy New Year!!
Wow, FABULOUS! Love them all! Your sweater is incredible with the white trim and that adorable little bird. You did such an amazing job with the papers. My favorite is the snowman peeking around the tree--so adorable! And your bunny is so cute. Hope you have a wonderful New Year's!
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful assortment of cards, Kim! I do love your favorite--the clear embossed snowflakes are fabulous--must do that next year. I also love the on with the trees & deer. Hope you're feeling back to your old self--before you get back to the kids & their germs--LOL!
ReplyDeleteGosh, these are all awesome!!! I could not pick a favorite. :) Happy New Year to you!!!
ReplyDeleteA gallery of gorgeous cards here; you've worked magic with your kit ingredients! Love the deers, the trees, the poinsettia, the snowflakes, the darling owl in the knothole...LOVE everything here! Happy New Year - and thank you for sharing your amazing creativity! Inspiration,+++

Darling cards. Absolutely darling.
ReplyDeleteEeep! It's impossible for me to pick a favorite, Kim, but my grin got a little wider when I spied that sweater card. Too cute!! What fun you had with this kit!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteEach month I think your '12 kits' cards are amazing, Kim ... and each month you out-do yourself ... these are all so charming ... I can't single out a fave. OK, then, if I must ... the bunny ... he's adorable, the embossed snowflakes are gorgeous and I love the DP swathes of snow! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteOh your sweater, Kim! It's soooo cute as a cardigan, eek! Love the owl tucked in his little woodgrain hole with the houndstooth background. The chevron piece almost looks like you stitched it by hand on that poinsettia card! And a super sweet bunny with those big bold snowflakes in the background...positively chilly but so sweet!
ReplyDeleteTotally adore your reindeer on kraft Merry Christmas card. So perfect. Love the touch of the red birdie in the tree, too. Wonderful.

ReplyDeleteOh. My oh my, Kim!!! 8 cards?? I'm SOOOO impressed! So I'm loving that you made the little thought bubble for the owl... and a great layout for that card! The snowman and the tree?? Perfect combination! I love the embellishments on the sweater card... seriously sweet with those pearl buttons! And the bunny card? Who couldn't love that? Thanks so much for making my kit rock!
ReplyDeleteWoweee!!!! I can't believe (I mean I can but really?) 8 cards?? My favorite and a CASE for sure is the owl card...that is a fabulous layout especially with the paper behind the owl. I am going to miss this group terribly so this is not a goodbye just a see ya later! :)

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Kim your post is so fabulous!! I LOVE your use of the LI dies on the first card, the sweater is over the top cute!! So much inspiration all in one post. LOVE love love!
Kim, you made some of my very favorite cards this month! That owl in the window with the woodgrain and houndstooth is adorable! I absolutely love the snowman peeking out from behind the tree, and the patterned paper hills with the clear embossed snowflakes on the last card are so pretty. You did an amazing job with this kit!
