One card for Monday...


Happy rainy Monday! I just love this kind of weather, but prefer to be home in it rather than driving back and fourth to work.  This is my second post of the day, you can see my 12 Kit cards here. My card today is for ColourQ challenge #234 and what a gorgeous color palette they choose! Thank you so much for stopping by to peek at my card...enjoy the rest of your day!

  8. Ok. Stop it! This is too cool!!! That chicken wire background is just brilliant. The woodgrain dp is perfect, as are the fantastic flowers. You've made something special with these modern colors and given it a classy country feel. Great card!! Bev

  12. Gorgeous card, Kim! Every detail - from the beautiful blooms, to the weathered wood background, to the filigree, to the chicken wire (I need to get an embossing folder like that...it's growing on me!) to your layout - combined, is utterly stunning. Love this? You bet!! Hugs~c

  16. Hi Kim! Oh gosh this is pretty! I thought this was the colors for this week and I was thinking oh no I forgot the gray. Love the combo of wood and chicken wire and then to top it of with the gorgeous flowers.
    I was so surprised , no middle name!

  18. Kim, I love the bright hot colors of this pale tangerine against the turquoise. That woodgrain texture 7 honeycomb chickenwire is so perfect a backdrop to these colors and that lacey border is beautiful. Very cheery card for a rainy day. Our Monday was beautiful & sunny. It is much nicer to be cozy at home when it's raining. TFS & Hugs
