This past week I celebrated my birthday and some time back Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea came up with this brilliant idea "husband kits". There are 4 of us in our group and we made a kit for one husband/children and this way we receive cards for birthday, Mother's Day and so on. It is an amazing idea and so far we are all loving it. Cathy from Empty Nest Crafter sent to my sweeties...the cards are just amazing and it was so much fun to actually receive cards this year from my family, thank you so much Cathy!
I also wanted to thank my sweet and wonderful blogland friends for taking the time to send cards and wish me a happy birthday...I am so blessed to have so many amazing friends...you are the BEST!
I also wanted to share a photo of this sweet Golden Story book that my sister gave me for my birthday, it has been re-purposed into a water color book with special paper inside. Cinderella is my favorite of the Disney princesses so the book will sit with the rest of my Cinderella trinkets. Here is the link to the wonderful lady who made my book....Tangie Baxer & Co.
My husband went fishing again this past week and I had to share the photo of his latest catch, it is just amazing! It measured 58 inches long and weighed over 50 pounds. Good thing we love to eat fish!
Thank you so much for stopping by...have a wonderful week!
Your CASology card is just too sweet. I am pinning it for when I finally own that set. The die cut heart is a very sweet addition, and the pink champagne is so festive. Thank you so much for playing at CASology. And, what a fabulous husband kit Cathy made for you. Those two cards are just gorgeous, and would put Hallmark to shame. Dwight's fish is pretty big alright. So, now I know what he is off doing while you are making cards.

Now, your husband's fish...wow, wow and wow! Yes, good thing you like fish!! Impressive! What an especially delightful post you shared; all are delightful, just a little 'something extra' about this one that made me super-duper smile. Perhaps it's because I'm sooooo thrilled that your birthday was extra special (although I was a slow poke in commenting!). You truly are such a gem; I can 'feel' your positive spirit through all your posts...Hugs to you~c

Loved all the other pretty cards you shared, and that is some BIG fish! Hope you got lots of meals out of that guy. TFS your pretty cards, and your google help. I'm still having problems, so it's not the google+ hanging up as I'd hoped. Happy Sunday. Hugs
