One card for Saturday...

Yeah...it is the weekend! Before I tell you about my card I want to thank you all so much for following my blog, I finally hit 100 followers and could not be happier...you are all just the best! Thank you all so much.
I know Saturday is just about over but I was able to squeeze one card in today and plan to stay up late and make a few more to post later.  My card is for  2 challenges, ColourQ #236 and Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday #159 - No Sew Quilt Cards. When I saw this week's colors over at ColourQ I swooned...they are just so beautiful, so soft and sweet and make in my opinion the perfect quilt. I was inspired by this card that Danielle from Homespun with Heart made, it is so beautiful. Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  3. This is a beautiful quilt card. Love the design and the happy breezy colors that you chose. The dp patterns really do invoke the look of a quilt, with that crisp white chevron border separation. Lovely work. Congratulations on reaching 100 followers. TFS & Hugs

  5. Love this 'quilt'!! It reminds me of a "crazy quilt" that I've seen down at our museum. And I mean that as a high compliment. Great colors, great design. This is just fantastic. Bev

  7. Your quilt card is stunning, Kimberly; a real one to tuck myself into, with exactly that pattern would be awesome! I'm guessing that quilting is also part of your amazing crafting-sewing-baking-super-fabulous-person repertoire? If not, you sure should consider taking it up (although I know the hours quilt making consumes, given my mom dabbles on occasion!). Some of the prettiest quilts I've seen are at the quilt store we have here in town (which I rarely go into, but they have 'shows' a few times a year), called the Sugar Pine. When we travel to Bend OR, we always stop in Sisters, where there's another amazing quilt store. Love quilts; love your card!

  13. Wow - the quilting folks would be proud of this masterpiece! Fabulous design, fabulous colors and fabulous mix of patterns! The texture is divine...I can almost feel the 'stitching lines'!

Just curious...I know you sew, but do you quilt as well? I sewed every item of clothing our kids wore (up until it wasn't cool anymore), but never quilted.
