Two cards for Sunday...

Happy Sunday...hoping you are all having a wonderful weekend. Easter Break is now over so back to work tomorrow. I have had a fabulous weekend so far, I spent yesterday with 50 other crafty ladies, most scrapbookers at a 12 hour event. Needless to say I did not get much of anything done but I had a blast, spent most of my time visiting with friends and laughing, lots and lots of laughing.

My first card is for the current challenge at Fusion #8, love the look of chevrons and have been trying very hard to use the stamps I have on hand, so this set would qualify as a NBUS from MFT and was fun to use! It is always fun to go through what you have and find so many great stamps you forgot about. My second card is for this week's Papertrey Ink's MIM - Watercolor Splats.  My new daubers finally arrived and wow, they worked like a charm, so fun! Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy your week!

  1. What a fun event that must have been. So many crafty supplies and friends all in one place. I love both of your cards so much. Fabulous use of those chevrons from MFT--I completely forgot about that set--eek. And, I really love your MIM card--such a rich bunch of colors beautifully blended together.

  2. Hi Kim - looks like you had a LOT of FUN!!! Love that chevron card - I always fall for colors! The second card is interesting - I have not had much success with that technique - perhaps I try it again, after seeing yours.
Sorry for not having been here is a while - was on vacation and had a lot of fun, too :)

  10. What a busy and FUN weekend you have had Kim...love both of your cards...the chevrons will probably be something you use a lot now that you have broken them in! I also really love that watercolor card...something I have yet to try, but what I am really jealous of is your fun weekend with all those crafty friends!

  14. Twelve hours with crafty friends = dream time! Great photos of fun times! Your cards are, again, stunning! I have some chevron stamps, still NBUS - so I think, with your card as inspiration, I may have to give them some inky-love! And your splatter card: perfect! I'm lousy with anything water-themed, but soooo enjoy seeing what others create. You've worked magic! Hugs~c

I must apologize for my commenting lapse...I have just discovered that posts from the majority of the blogs that I follow have not been making it through to my mailbox. Grrrrr! I am going to re-subscribe with an alternate e-mail...hopefully it works!
