One card for Monday....

Happy Monday...I only have one card to share today, it is for this weeks Retro Sketches challenge #120. Summer camp has kept me very busy and I over did it a bit this past weekend...with an all day concert, Warp Tour on Saturday with my daughter and a 5K and graduation party on Sunday so by mid day I was ready to crawl under a rock and sleep for the next week.

Danny from We The Kings and his sweet girlfriend Lindsay

See Jane Run 5K Run for Champagne and Chocolate...funny, Ashleigh said it should have been whiskey and chocolate.

My card is for a sweet friend who just got a new puppy...and she is just too cute. I used my NBUS paws embossing folder...I found it at Joann's on sale and with my teacher discount it came a grand total $1.50! Can't beat that. There are still a few days to play along with Darnell's NBUS challenge, you can find the link here. Thank you so much for stopping by today...enjoy the rest of your week!

  4. Yay you and all your busyness! What wonderful things to be a part of. We don't have Summer Camp here in NZ, always looks like so much fun in the movies!! Such a gorgeous card and I bet your friend will love it (and hopefully the new puppy won't get hold of it!!). Our youngest retriever is 2 1/2 yrs and still loves to chew. Especially my husband smelly work boots....yuck! Hope your not too sore from your run, bet you laughed and smiled the whole way!

  10. Hello, my wonderful friend! Shoes are laced, and I'm going for a stroll to catch up on your fabulous site! What a wonder starting point: photos of your 'past' weekend (yeesh, has it been that long!) and you, with your radiant smile...just makes my heart sing! Your 'welcome new puppy' card delights in every way possible; your 'sweet-heartedness' in making one to welcome this squirmy little furbaby, and the total adorable-ness of the card itself! As a former 'doggy mom', to two miniature schnauzers (oh, how I miss them!), I know how precious gestures like this are; my 'girls' were highlights of my life!! Four paws of pure love! That embossing folder is simply awesome, as is the dog house...and the bones...and the sentiment. Guess it's obvious: love your card!! Hugs~c

That bargain embossing folder sure came in handy! It's perfect with the doggie themed scene you've made for this card. And it sounds like it's perfect for the intended occasion!
