Two cards for Thursday

Happy Thursday and almost 4th of July! Wishing everyone a safe and fun holiday. I have 2 cards to share today. My first card is for the current challenge at CAS-ology...it has been a few weeks since I have played along and it took me awhile to come up with a cas card for float, I really wanted to make a root beer float but did not have the stamps for that and thought using the real thing might be a bit messy. So I am using one of my embossing folders with the sweet little butterfly floating through the garden.

My second card is another baby card for the current challenge at The Card Concept and House of Cards. I don't usually make or need many baby cards but they are fun to make.

Love your second card, such a sweet clean baby design, and yellow is a color that goes for both girls and boys, so I'm sure this will come in handy. I'd love to know where you got that die...

  13. ...I went straight to the fridge to make a root beer float....and we didn't have any root beer! Dang it all! That sure was a really great idea!

But this card is THE one that will be in the winner's circle over at CAS-ology! Stunning, elegant, beautiful!

LOVE the baby card! I find baby cards one of the hardest card to make - not sure why? This is a great gender neutral card that is definitely going on my bulletin board!

  15. Root beer float....I can't remember the last time I had one, but you've certainly sparked the craving for one! Your cards are both incredibly gorgeous and elegant! The ef on the first - (I am soooo going shopping - can you tell me where you bought it please? We're planning to head to your amazing country next week...JoAnn's on the agenda!!) is totally stunning, and yes, swooning over the butterfly. The baby card: charming! Simply stunning; stunning simple. Either way, these are ultra marvellous!!
