The 12 Kits of Occasions - October Edition

It is almost Halloween and also the end of the month so that means it is time for our 12 Kits of Occasion's post. This month our hostess with the mostess is Jessica from Paper Parade and what an amazing kit she sent out. I could not wait to play with my kit but I wanted to save it for my trip to Minnesota and I have to say the my blogging friends loved getting a little bit of a sneak peek. The colors and images from Jessica's kit were just perfect for the setting I was in, fall all over the place, every where you turned, it was just beautiful and so much inspiration for my cards. I have 5 cards to share with you today and as always, lots of leftovers to play with later in the month. Be sure to head over to The 12 Kits of Occasions blog for a peek at every one's cards and links to their blogs. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by today...enjoy the rest of your week.

This month's kit...just amazing right?

  1. Oh wow. I love all of your cards Kim, but that one with the scribble die cut behind it is my FAVORITE!!! Love that one. The combination of the whimsical scribble and the elegant sentiment was such a smart idea! Your cards really show how much fun you had with Jessica's kit!

  7. YAYYY! Kim!!! Look at all the cards you made! You really outdid yourself, and each one so different from the last. Standouts for me are the "thanks" with the squiggle background - I just couldn't figure out what to do with that image - it looks drop dead gorgeous here, and I love the last with the swirly embossed background. You picked up all the colors in the thanks with the sequins and the pumpkin - it just looks like it was meant to be together. The yellows just pop on the first with the little extra yellow paper behind the sentiment too! Great post!

  8. Fabulous collection of cards, Kim. I can tell that you were in a place where fall was really happening and inspiring you. Brilliant idea to use a circle scribble die behind that beautifully inked sentiment, I love the turkey sitting atop those subway sentiments, and your monochrome thankful card is just gorgeous.

  19. Wow! Just what a needed, some inspiration for thank you cards. Really like the one with the little turkey and how you decorated several cards with sequins. I've been struggling with coming up with an idea for a thank you card, but I think it's solved now... Thanks!

  20. Kim I think that the last two thanks cards are my favorites...I love how you put the sentiment over the pumpkin in the last, what a neat look! And on the second to last the scribbles behind really make the sentiment pop! Love your take on the purple card with the white acorn, too... you are so creative!
