ColourQ #273

Hello...yesterday was my first official day of Christmas break (2 weeks off to craft and play) and I had so much fun. I met up with Darnell and Harriet for lunch...did a bit of shopping and some crafting too. A fabulous way to spend my first day off.

The colors for this week's ColourQ Challenge #273 are so perfect for Christmas card. I have had this sweet little stamps sitting on my desk forever and when I looked around to find what I would use and it jumped right into my hands. This is one the stamps my sister gave me when she switched all of her crafting to digital and it has always been one of my favorites. This challenge will run for 2 weeks instead of the usual one week with the holiday coming up so you will have plenty of time to play along with us.

Sorry to be so behind on my blog, the last week of school was just crazy with 29 little preschoolers. I am tardy in announcing the winner from Amy's wonderful Coffee Blog Hop. Geri from Manitoba Stamper was the winner of the gift certificate. Thank you to all of you that played along and for all your wonderful and sweet comments!

  10. What a fantastic card. So festive and fun. Love the little embellishments you added to the drinks. I would love a cocktail with a candy cane stirrer or a bit of holly. Great picture, too. You are so lucky to get to have lunch with Darnell and Harriett. Merry Christmas.
