The 12 Kits of Occasions - March 2015 Edition


Wow...can you believe it is the final day of March and Easter is less than a week away! Where does the time go? We have another amazing kit, Marybeth from Marybeth's Time for Paper and what a fabulous kit she created. I know I say that every month, but all the 12 kits have been so over the top fabulous and Marybeth's is no exception. From the colors to the sweet images, I feel in love with her kit as soon as I opened it. I had so much fun playing with it too.

I added 3 layers of Wink of Stella on the heart, not sure if you can see it, but it looks so pretty in real life.

  1. Hi Kim!! I mentioned in my post the idea of all of us making the same card... we've come very close with that handsome feathered gent! Love them all, Kim... oh! I'd do dishes at your house anytime, using those darling dish towels!

  2. Wow, I love all your projects you made with this kit! I must remember how much I love this red/kraft/white/black combo, it's just beautiful. Love the little chicken towels and your big rooster! All fun!

  3. What a fantastic bunch of cards, Kim. Really love what you have done with the kit. That cupcake card just stands out, though. Love your bright spring colors on that one. Those cupcakes are bits I wanted to use but ran out of time. Good thing I still have them.

  5. KIM - YOU SO ROCKED THIS!!!! I love this whole 12 Kits of Occasion idea!! Love seeing what everyone created with basically the same stuff!! You have impressed the socks off of me!! Love the cupcake card with the yellow border in the middle of the card!! Also, your first card could not be anymore perfect - IN LOVE!!! I just admire you so much and the great ways you create!! Such an inspiration and SO SWEET to boot!!! Hope you have a super day!!

  6. OMG!!! Girlfriend...you're so darn awesome! These cards are so amazing...just like you! The wee dish towels had me oooo-ing and awwwww-ing! Love the pearls on the cupcake liner and LOVE the black & white gingham ribbon! A virtual mid morning feast for my old, but very appreciative, eyes!!

  7. OMG! The little pearls on the cupcake?? So glad you did a close up - wish I could see it in person! Love that pretty satin bow on the first with the towels - and really all your cards. You did a wonderful job giving me that "country" feel - the kraft with all the animals, and another perfect knot on the card with the rooster. Gorgeous Kim!

I particularly love the cool rooster with the gingham ribbon and red banners ... and that gorgeous cupcake is to die for, all perfectly dressed in it's pearly necklace ... yum!   11. OMG, Kim, I love every one of these! You did an amazing job with Marybeth's kit. Fantastic design with the towels! I thought they were adorable but couldn't decide on how to use them. The bow really sets them off! You really captured the country look and then there's that gorgeous cupcake. Stunning--love the colors and the pearls!

  15. Wonderful set of cards Kim! Love your first card with the towels happy to see you used that one. It reminds me of my sister that passed away , I bought with her in mind. She would always send us towels for any occasion.
    I loved seeing the happy yellow card in the mix! I also love the patterned paper with the jar what a darling country card! Hope you are feeling better by now.

  16. Wow! How you can you make so many cards and have every one be so different and fun! I LOVE the cute cupcake card with the little pearls. I also love how you added fhe ribbon to the banner along with the dish towel card....that was my favorite. Its obvious you had fun with Marybeth's kit!

  20. Once again, your dazzle, delight and charm with the kit ingredients! Every one is so marvelous. My mother-in-law has a number of rooster/chicken themed things in her home, so I know Mr. Rooster would fit right in!
