Hello...I have 2 cards to share with you today. The first one is for PTI's monthly blog hop and wait until you see the inspiration photo for this card....these sweet little shoes are as cute as they come and I would love to have a pair just like them, but for some reason I don't think they would be near as cute on my big feet.
My second card is for this month's challenge at Serendiptiy #44, the theme is My Guy. I made a Father's Day card and will be ahead of the game for next year.
I did a bit of sewing this morning and made a new apron. I have been drooling over this fabric at Britex for some time, thought it would make the sweetest apron...don't you agree.
I have some new followers to my blog that I would love to welcome...DL.ART, Jennifer from Caffinated Papercuts, Katie from katieO's and Carol from Inky Fingers....I am so honored to have you as my newest followers, thank you all so much!
Fun card I love the bright orange flowers.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day

Swoon! Your cards are both stunning, Kim, but that sweet apron in the fantastic color and patterns just stole the show today! That would make the cutest sundress, too, with a backside on it, of course. I mean, right? Or not, if it's really hot like it is over here today. Then it would feel good to have a little breeze flow! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteYour sweet apron almost distracted me from the gorgeous PTI card, Kim! Love the bright, fresh colors on the card - just perfect. A few years ago I was introduced to Britex by a friend. She knew exactly what she was buying and I only had 30 minutes to stop hyperventilating, gather myself and figure out what to buy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, I so love the deer card :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards ands wow what a super pretty apron too, is there no end to your talents Kim ;) Viv xx
ReplyDeleteTwo sweet cards, Kim! Love your take on those shoes! That bold stripe and the sweet orange flowers. And the FD card...I know many a dad who would love that one. What's not to love about an 8-point buck?! Me, I like the deer, but love the dp behind the red panel! You're right too, about the apron. I'm so glad you bought that fabric; when you showed it on your craft room post, I hoped you'd let us in on what you'd made with it! Darn cute apron! Love the patterns and colors! You're a wonder girl! Have a great weekend. Miss you. Bev
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing! Two sweet cards AND AN APRON!
ReplyDeleteAdore the big, bold stripes and the stunning contrast with the fab orange blooms! Cool touch with the angled panels on the "Dad" card! Love the button and twine - could it be any more perfect than this for a guy card? I think not...cuz you have achieved perfect here!

Miss you ... hugs & bisous, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteCan totally see why you love that fabric, its Gawjus!!!!!! Love all those green tones and your sewing skills are incredible! Love it. Just love your card for PTI, those flowers are so crisp and clean and so perfect for the challenge photo. And your so good with your masculine cards. Love the stag image and the vintage look to it, very cool. Hope your getting your apron nice and dirty with lots of summery baking. Phoebe and Ella helped me bake Banana Muffins and Double chocolate muffins where they decided it would be good to put pieces of caramel chocolate into the middle of each one. We had cocoa everywhere, so thank goodness my apron is very old and dowdy. Lots of fun though and not many left......
ReplyDeleteGirl fabulous cards and fabulous apron!!! You are so talented!! Love the papers and design of your Serendipity card...perfect for that image! So happy. You played along with us!!
