The Challenge #46

Happy Monday...one card to share today. I used some more NBUS, I know we all have piles of them right? I love this sweet set from My Favorite Things, Harvest Mouse. These little guys have the sweetest faces. I used the dies with my Misti and believe it or not I colored it, but when I finished I realized that the colors were not all part of The Challenge, so I started over. But I really wanted to share my little critter so I added him to the lower edge of my card so show him off. I will find another use for him soon.

I hope you will find the time to play along with us this week, the colors are so beautiful. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your week!

  2. Kim - this is a genius card - love using one 'window' as shaker and I love that you stamped him in dark red and left him uncoloured! Fun!

  4. This IS a cute mouse. Love the way that you've made the frame of the card look like stitched leather. Very pretty with the rich red of the design. Also a delightful shaker design. I'm curious about the use of the die with the Misti. Did you die cut, then use the results with the Misti? Or just lay down the die on your card & use the Misti to place it properly? (Sorry, I'm slow!) It's a wonderful & happy card, Kim. Love it. TFS & Have a great week. Hugs

  7. Oh Kim, this is just adorable! I love the red inked mouse and leaves, it's a wonderful look! Reminds me a bit of redwork embroidery.

  8. You've reminded me I have this NBUS die in my stash.... I LOVE how you've used it here, and these images...you're right, they do have the sweetest faces/expressions. And what a beautiful selection of colors. I will look in my stash of stuff (yeah, like I WON'T have anything that works with these...) and see if I can get something made quick. Headed to Madison this weekend to watch kiddies, and have tons to get ready. But anyway, I LOVE this card. I really, really do!! Miss you. xo Bev

  22. Your so lucky, I love that two-window die from MFT. Was eyeing that up at the New Release. Looks amazing on your card. And those Harvest Mice are so adorable. So frustrating when you realise you've coloured or used the wrong thing for your card. I think he fits in nicely with the Autumn tones. Gorgeous card!
