Hello and welcome to the January edition of the 12 Kits of Occasions! This month our incredible hostess is Jeanne from A Kept Life. She put together an amazing kit, so many fun things to play with, from fortune cookies to Chinese dragons! I had so much fun playing with all the beautiful images and incredible patterned paper. Coloring the dragons was my favorite part of the kit!

Oh gosh Kim! So many pretties here.. you got me with the clean take out box with the embossed border.. scrolling down.. gorgeous watercolor moon, beautiful embellished kimono..and then I got into all your colored designs. Your girls are all beautiful. I love the little accents you added and the colors you chose! The ninjas blew me away and then I see the grand finale.. the explosion box.. WOW!!! You outdid yourself. The coloring on the lions is amazing!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Kim, I'm going crazy over all of your cards and that darling little pop up box is the icing on the cake!!! I love the CAS look of the fortune cookie card and the night sky with that moon die is amazing! I didn't realize it was a moon until I started reading everyone's blog. oops! Your coloring on all the images is done to perfection and I love the ninja card. Soooo cute!!! I'd be more than happy to send you as much snow as you'd like. ;0)
ReplyDeleteI just keep scrolling up and down looking at all of your amazing cards, Kim! You've chosen such beautiful colors for your geisha girls, and I'm over the moon about your moonlit sky! I love how you colored the pagoda and gave your ninjas such a vibrant action-packed scene! That pop-up box! What a wonderful pop-up box! Absolutely brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThese cards are fantastic! I just love the clean lines on the first card, the magical look on the moon card. The blue and gold is ethereal. Your coloring is excellent and helps those images really come to life. The kimono card is just lovely with the white against the dark blue. The embellishments are so pretty, too. I especially love the box card. I had an idea to do something like that, but ran out of time, so I did something different. I just love how that came out. Thank you for sharing your talents!

Love all the colors! I adore your awesome Ninjas. And then you end with the New Year's box--so creative and no doubt extra fun to make. Just scrolling through your blog has been a joy!!

ReplyDeleteGosh, what an awesome collection of oriental inspired designs. Hard to pick any favorites here, but the first one caught my attention for being such an original Asian themed card design. now I want to eat something Chinese. I also love your coloring of the sweet girl, great simple design. And the one with the blossoms and buildings, so pretty.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh , Kim.... you did amazing things with the kit! I love your fun box card, happy I have enough leftovers to make one myself . Your Nina card is also so well designed, love that one too! I love the way you colors the " note of thanks card ( I messed mine up).

ReplyDeleteI'm repeating every one else's WOW Kim...oh my goodness but you really went to town with Jeanne's kit and I'm loving each and every card!! I love your Cloudy Moon card...you water colored it beautifully Kim and those gold splatters really give such a cool look!! LOVE your ninja card too with the starburst background...that is just a FABULOUS card and I just might have to CASE you on that one! :0) All your geisha girl cards are wonderful too Kim! But your explosion pop up box????!!! Oh my gosh girl, that is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I think I've been oohing and ahhing and drooling for the past 10 minutes and taking in every detail! You knocked it out of the park with the box...love, LOVE it!! You did Jeanne so proud with this kit my friend...WELL DONE!!! :0)

ReplyDeleteand much Card with the Kits amazing ..I love the White Kimono on the blue dark paper so so Beautiful it is ..the Little Girl alone in Purple is so simple and cute the three ladies hehe the Sentiment made me smile Miss Kim and the Ninja any Boys will love this Card and the one with White Japanese House/Pagoda oh I love the paper and the last one so impressing I never made Card in Box must learn it ...it Looks so easy you made it miss Kim
