ATSM #359 - CAS

Hello...popping in today with my CAS for the new challenge at ATSM #359 - CAS. I cut these images while visiting Joyce a few months back (in fact I think I pretty much case'd her card exactly) It was fun to make, used a cover plate die from Avery Elle.
Hope you will play along with us, can't wait to see how you are inspired! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your day!

Paper Players #158, ColourQ #202 and Clean & Simple #253

Happy Wednesday...I just realized that I only have one more week off before school starts back up, this summer has whizzed by!  So I plan to make the most of every day and be as crafty as possible.  Wish me luck!  I have 2 cards to share and for 3 challenges, ColourQ, Paper Players and Clean & Simple. My first card is for this week's ColourQ #202. This week's colors are just beautiful and look amazing together. I was chatting with Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea last night about speech bubbles and I always forget that I have them so that inspired me to pull them out to make this card.

My next card is for 2 challenge, Paper Players and Clean & Simple...this is my first time playing along with them.  After seeing the colors for Paper Players, I was so happy that I actually had all the right colors, so much fun. I am also using some NBUS too!  A little stamp set from The Alley Ways Stamps, Holiday Sparklers look like little stitched snowflakes, so sweet. Thank you so much for stopping by to peek at my cards today...have a great week!

Clean & Simple Day 6 - Simple Embellishments

It was so nice to have the day off today and be able to get a few cards made.  This one was very different from anything I have done before...and I really love the end results. The flower is made from 6 one inch circle punches and then fold two sides just a bit. I don't have any large back round stamps so I just used what I had and turned the PTI set Background Basics - Sheet Music into one. I added the three little red hearts on the front so it would look more like a Valentine's Day card.  Thanks for taking a peek!

Ingredients
Solid Card Stock: PTI - White and Rustic White
Ink: SU - Real Red
Bakers Twine: PTI - Pure Poppy
Printed Paper: Echo Park - Yours Truly
Stamps: PTI - Background Basics - Sheet Music, WPlus9 - Love You More and Avocado Arts - Hello Friend

Clean and Simple Day 3 - Tone on Tone Dimensional

So today's card was a little bit more work, but well worth when you see the end results. For my card, I used PTI heart dies...I cut out six of each in white and then glued them all together and placed the final raspberry fizz heart on top.  It really gives the card a dimensional look that is pretty easy to do.  My sentiment is stamped in VersaMark with white embossing powder over the top.  So, like the class title, it is pretty clean and simple!  Thanks for taking a peek!

Ingredients
Solid Card Stock: PTI - White and Raspberry Fizz
Stamps: PTI - Think Big Favorites #11
Dies: PTI - Hearts
Embossing Powder: Stamp Stuff - White

Clean & Simple Day 2 - Flat Cards

Well...it is day 2 of the Clean & Simple online class and the lesson for the day is to make a flat card.  After I completed the card I had to share with Ashleigh to get her opinion and she just smiled when I told her it was flat card day...she always comments when I make a card that has a a bunch of jingle bells on it, how are you going to mail that one?  Well I have to admit this card was a lot more fun to make than I initially thought.  I will be making more of these, but need stamps with bigger images.  I used some of the flowers from the PTI Rosie Posie set and they seemed to work out just perfect. I choose the orange and yellow inks to go with the sentiment, Wishing you brighter days...really love the end result.  Thanks for taking a peek!
