Hello...Happy Monday! I have to tell that I hate losing an hour, this Daylight Saving time stuff needs to stop, at least in my opinion. I hate the back and forth with the time thing, just nuts! Now that I have that said I will move on to my card for this weeks challenge at
The Challenge #64. The colors for this week are so beautiful and I pulled at some NBUS, One Big Happy from PTI. I hope you will find the time to play along with us this week.

I spent some time sewing this weekend, we have had rain just about the entire time so what better time to try something new. A dear sweet friend of mine asked me to duplicate the microwave bowl cozy for her, she did not like the fabric choice but still bought it. It is the coolest thing, you pop your bowl of soup or what ever you are heating in it and microwave. When you pull it out the bowl your cozy protects your hands from getting hot or burned. I did some measuring and whipped up a bunch to make for friends to use as my guinea pigs so to speak. The batting is 100% cotton and there are 2 layers of that inside for protection. I used a bunch of fabric scraps and went crazy!

Once again I met up with Harriet and Darnell for a fabulous lunch at Pacific Catch and we forgot to get a picture, but we sure had a great time and Darnell decided to use the pot holder I made for her as padding for her bra (like she really needs any padding) and the waitress walks over to take our order...it was so funny, but you all can just imagine that, you know how funny Miss Darnell is. Really wish I had my phone out to snap a picture! Sorry to ramble on....thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your week!
