Lucy's Card Sketch Challenge - Day 1

Microsoft Word - Document1

It's Super Bowl Sunday and that means a day of crafting in my little craft room.  I feel like my space is getting smaller by the day, first I added a Silhouette to my desk (I had no idea it was as big as it is) and then my trusty 9inch television died, just so sad. It even had a built in DVD player so I could craft to I Love Lucy now that I have the entire season on DVD (thanks to my sweet sister). Well after a day or two without the old TV I was getting used the quiet and my hubby went to Costco to put gas in my van and surprised me a flat screen TV for my craftroom, don't get me wrong I was very happy but the TV is just too big, I really miss my little one.  On to my card, since I have most of the day to play...this one is for a weekly challenge from Lucy at Lucy's Card blog (gotta love that name, Lucy), if you have not checked out her blog you have to, she is so talented and very creative. The paper I used for this card is from Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea, she gave this to me when I was visiting last July for PTI's Stamp A Faire.  I have used bits and pieces of the paper but this was the first time I really pulled stuff out to play with.  Once again, thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and peek at my card, have a wonderful day!

Poor husbands, they do mean well! Dwight will understand. Good luck with finding one that works! (Wasn't that sun streaming in wonderful after all the cloudy days?!)

  2. Wow! That is a big one! What a nice guy, he doesn't understand that craft space is at a premium, does he though? Love your card and the cute paper you used with the beautiful matching button.

  3. This is such a sweet card, and a great way to use up some of that patterned paper. I will play along if I have a chance. You know, I have a few paper pads lying around...So glad you are enjoying the pad I got for you, and what a sweetie husband you have for getting you a big TV. You will grow to love it, I'm sure.
