Dynamic Duo's #58 and Muse #23

Two more cards to share today, the first one is for this week's Dynamic Duo's and you still have time to play along too!  This week's colors threw me off at first, not colors I generally use but I have to say that I am very happy with the way they turned out. I used Soft Cantaloupe ink from Hero Arts and Canyon Clay ink from PTI and I love how they look together.  I even added a few pearls to dress up my Folk Art Medallion from Waltzingmouse Stamps.  I would have bet money that I had a clear block big enough to fit this stamp and not only that I was sure I had used it before too, but no on both accounts so that is why my medallion is off the edge.

My second card is for this week's challenge over at Muse and Anita from France is they guest designer this week so I had to play along...you still have time to join the party over there too.  I fell in love with the soft and sweet colors she used along with all the wonderful sequins, just a beautiful inspiration card.  Thank you so much for stopping by to peek at my cards....have a wonderful week.

  1. Well done, my friend. That first card is stunning--so happy you didn't have the proper acrylic block because your design over the edge is just perfect. And, your take on Anita's Muse card is just perfect--incredible use of that brand new stamp set, which I am so happy I commissioned you to buy for me!

  2. Very pretty card! The pearls add a beautiful touch to the medallion. I'm so glad you joined us at Dynamic Duos this week!

  3. The medallion is so gorgeous in those colors and I love the pretty pearl accents! Fun 'thank you' stamp too!

  4. Wow,all beautiful cards! I especially like the first one. The medallion with pearl accents is stunning.-Irma

  5. Your medallion is perfect off the edge, I'm glad you couldn't find a larger block - ha! You sold me on these colors together. Love the softness of your second card, beautiful stamping!

  6. Kim what a fabulous cards for both challenges. I love your big medallion for Duos and your new Neat & Tangled works so perfectly for your Muse card. Thanks you so much for sharing with us this week at Dynamic Duos!

  7. Kim, I love your cards...especially the MUSE card, what lovely colors, so soft and pretty!

  8. Love the way you've offset the 'thank you'! Thanks for playing along with this week's Muse!

  9. Had a giggle at you not having a block big enough for the medallion, Kim ... it's rather perfect as it is, with those delicious pearls, so p'raps it's a good thing you don't have one! I love your Muse card ... the simple sentiments, the soft colours and those glorious clear (?) sequins ... gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing along! Anita :)

  10. Oh no! I never even thought about having a block big enough for that image...I haven't used mine yet and wonder what I a going to do! I love your card with the beautiful colors and pearls

  11. Fabulous job with our colours! I just LOVE all of the detail you used for your focal point stamped image. Thanks so much for joining us at Dynamic Duos, we sure hope to see you back again soon :)

  12. I love them both...
but you know I might have a soft spot for the medallion! :)
And I use my cutting plate for it...
I thought I had a block big enough too...
but found the cutting plate works great! :)
And it looks gorgeous in those colors!

  13. OMG totally smitten with the first card! Love all the bling on that medallion - so fancy! Wow... speechless here - love it!

  14. It looks like this was the one post I've missed of yours, Kim, so I'm delighted you won at DD so I could come back and see it this way! Congratulations on the well-deserved honor! This card is sensational!!

  15. Another gorgeous DD's card. Stunning. Congratulations on your DD honor.
