2 cards for Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! I have a fun day planned today...Darnell from djkardkreations and Harriet from Ally Cat Cards are coming by for a visit and then out to lunch and my favorite little crepe place in town.  It is so much fun to be able to meet up with blog friends!
My first card is my second card for this week's CASology, the cue card is "cool" and there are so many possibilities with this one.  Tracey from In My Creative Opinion sent some subway stamped images from Fresh Squeezed stamps and I thought the summer one would be perfect for my cool card.

My second card is for this week's Curtain Call...they are back and holding challenges again. I have to be honest with you, I did not know that they were not new. They are having a fabulous challenge this week, the theme is Nautical, I do not own anything even remotely nautical but Lucy was able to bail me out once again. Be sure to head over to Curtain Call to play along, you still have time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by to peek at my cards....have a wonderful week!

  1. Wow--Kim--these are both so fabulous. I am beginning to see the trend here--Lucy is stepping in to save the day. I really like your interpretation of 'cool'. Your card actually looks like a fun day would look (if a fun day were a card), and your second card is just fabulous. All those wonderful die cuts setting the scene--perfect for a summer birthday.

  10. Both are fabulous, Kim! Subway art is always such fun and I love the colors on your first card. But I'm a little jealous that I don't have a Lucy in my house to bail me out of tough spots!! Your waves are wonderful and I love the lighthouse!

  12. That was so, so fun and funny today!! Wish we lived even closer! Can I just say that if I were in charge, that wave card would so be a winner! I think that's a cut file, but seriously, someone should make that a stamp design! It is positively lyrical!! If it is also a stamp, please let me know!
