Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge #272 - Glasses

Happy Monday and welcome to this week's Merry Monday Christmas Card, our hostess this week is Leanne and it's Challenge #272 - Glasses. I don't have any glass stamps so I put Lucy (my Silhouette) to work, using some glitter paper from Michael's and cut these wonderful glasses, added a bit of gold sequins, this wonderful patterned paper and the sentiment is from MFT, Penguins stamps. I hope you are inspired to play along with us. It is the perfect time to get a head start on this years Christmas cards, just a thought! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by...enjoy your day!

Ho Ho Ho...it's that time of year, Christmas in July! The current challenge at Simply Create Too is just that and you still have plenty of time to play along, so pull out some of your holiday stamps and make a card so you can play too. I know this all sounds rather silly but even Hallmark is in the spirit, the new holiday ornaments are out and just last weekend they had holiday movies playing all weekend...so much fun. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy your weekend!

Two cards for Sunday...

Hoping that everyone had a wonderful weekend...this past week was so busy I never had much time to be crafty but today I had a bit of time and I have 2 cards to share with you. They are for Serendipity - Stitching Challenge, CASology - cue card "Lucky" and Paper Crafting Challenge - Sketch Challenge (this is a new one for me. I love their sketch and thought it would be fun to play along). Thank you so much for taking time to stop by...enjoy your week!

This is as close to "lucky" as I could get, I don't have any stamps with lucky on them so I pulled out a PS alphabet set and had Lucy help me cut a sweet little duck.

This card is for both Serendipity and Paper Crafting Challenge...I love this tree from Serendipity, it reminds me of a tree you might see in Whoville.

Curtain Call - Carnival Craze and Lil Inker's Birthday Party

Wow...this week has just zipped by! Went back to work today, lots of cleaning, tossing out, organizing and meetings. I really could have spent all day there, but why do in one day what I can spread out over the next several?  It is a nice feeling to have everything clean and fresh for the new school year.  I have two cards to share and the first one is for Curtain Call's current challenge - Carnival Craze.  Once again I came up empty with stamps so I put Miss Lucy to work, she never gets a break! But she always comes through for me and today was no exception, I found this fun Ferris Wheel to fit the theme. It was so much fun to make and thought a bit of bling would dress it up a bit too.

My next card is for Lil Inker's Birthday Party, they just turned 3!!! So exciting, there is still plenty of time to play along and they have some fabulous prizes too. Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my card...have a great rest of your week.

CASology #56 and 10 Minute Craft Dash Birthday Challenge #23

Wow...can you believe it, it is Thursday already, this week is zipping by! Tomorrow Outside Lands starts so I will not get in much crafting time in the next 3 days...but you never know, maybe in the mornings before we leave for San Francisco.  Tomorrow we will see Sir Paul McCartney, I can mark that one off my bucket list now.

I have 1 card and 1 project to share tonight.  The first one is a little treat/gift bag that Lucy helped me with. It took one 12x12 sheet of paper and a bit of folding and there you have it! It is good size too, 8" x 4", so big enough to hold a fun little surprise.  Since I was making it for this week's 10 Minute Craft Dash Birthday, I made it to hold a gift and decorated it with a name and a festive little balloon bouquet.  And I made it in just less than 10 minutes too...so much fun!

I forgot to take a photo of my time so I had to reset my phone timer so I could add the time.

My card is my second card for this week's CASology "Dessert" challenge.  I am not a chocolate lover at all but know plenty of people how are so this card will find a good home.  The stamps I used are from Technique Tuesday, Eat Chocolate and are also a NBUS.  The Hershey Kisses are embossed with silver too, it is a bit hard to see that in the photo.

Retro Sketches #73 and Little Tangles #17 - Into the Woods

Happy Tuesday...hope everyone is having a fabulous week! I have 2 cards to share today, one for RetroSketches and one for Little Tangles, this is my first time playing with Neat & Tangled.  I am also happy to say that both of my cards have one of more NBUS too.  So much fun pulling out the new goodies. My first card is for RetroSketches #73 and as soon as I saw this week's sketch I knew I needed to make a baseball card and crossed my fingers that no one else came up with the same idea.  Since I am a SF Giants fan I decided to go with their color scheme, black and orange.

My next card is for this week's Little Tangles - Into the Woods.  I only have a few of their stamps and we so happy to see that one of them was wood grain.  I decided to use it to make a tree and cut the branches using Lucy, but the tree looked a bit bare so I pulled out resting birds die from MB and that seemed to do the trick.  The background paper is from Pebbles, Walnut Grove, I loved the look of the banners strung up behind my tree.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my cards...have a wonderful week!

2 cards for Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! I have a fun day planned today...Darnell from djkardkreations and Harriet from Ally Cat Cards are coming by for a visit and then out to lunch and my favorite little crepe place in town.  It is so much fun to be able to meet up with blog friends!
My first card is my second card for this week's CASology, the cue card is "cool" and there are so many possibilities with this one.  Tracey from In My Creative Opinion sent some subway stamped images from Fresh Squeezed stamps and I thought the summer one would be perfect for my cool card.

My second card is for this week's Curtain Call...they are back and holding challenges again. I have to be honest with you, I did not know that they were not new. They are having a fabulous challenge this week, the theme is Nautical, I do not own anything even remotely nautical but Lucy was able to bail me out once again. Be sure to head over to Curtain Call to play along, you still have time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by to peek at my cards....have a wonderful week!

Muse #26, Moxie Fab - Birthday Card Challenge CAS-ual Fridays#109 - Polka Dots and Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes

After seeing this week's Muse inspiration card I knew I could play along with the help of Lucy (my silhouette cameo).  I had purchased this file some time back and now was my chance to give a try. Lucy is funny, there are times I cut PTI card stock and she tears is up but today for some strange reason, it cut like butter, so I was doing the happy dance!  Not only will my card be used for this week's Muse challenge #26, I will be entering it in both Moxie Fab Birthday Card Challenge, CAS-ual Fridays - Polka Dots and Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by and peek at my card....have a fabulous week!

Muse Challenge #24

Happy Sunday...just a quick post with one card today, in fact it was a very quick card to make too and absolutely no stamping on it either!  This card is for this week's challenge over at Muse and the incredibly talented Laurie Willison from Soapbox Creations has the inspiration card the this week.  Green is my favorite color so I thought this would be a fun challenge to play along in.  In addition to being inspired by Laurie's card I was also inspired by Anita from My Paper craft World who is playing along this week.  When I saw her card used some fabulous little wooden embellies, my idea popped into my head.  I bought some of these wonderful little goodies some time ago and shared them with some of my stamping friends, nice to pull out unloved/unused supplies, right. Hope you are having a fabulous weekend...thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop in to peek at my card.

CASology #50

Ok, I think this will be my last post for the day and save any other cards to post tomorrow.  This card is for this week's CASology and the "cue" card is Free...now when I first saw it was free, I thought do what ever you want type card but once I took a closer look I found out that is was the word free. What a strange cue card word, right? After a few minutes it popped into my head and now I think it is a fabulous cue card word.   I put Lucy to work right away and made my cute little red car, my next problem was finding a square to cut our my Free Parking words and then bingo....Lil Inkers Stitched Squares and they were a perfect fit too! Just made my day, if I had taken the time to measure it all out it would have never worked, not in a million years.  Thank you so much for taking time to peek at my card....have a great week!

SSS - Transport, Cards for Maddy, CTD #246 and CFC #105

Happy Saturday! I have 3 cards to share today, 2 of them I made last night but it was too late to get them posted so I made one more to add to my little bundle today.  I was a bit stumped last night on what to make and Joyce mentioned making a card for Maddy and I used the sweet color combination from this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #246.  She is a sweet young lady who is battling cancer, no child should ever has to go through this. Simon Says Stamp is hosing this challenge to send her as many cards as possible. The staff at the hospital have a map and pin where all the cards come from, it would be wonderful to see all the cities and states pinned.  You still have plenty of time to play along you can find the link here.

My next 2 cards are for SSS - Transport and CFC #105 - Mapquest.  I have this fun little collection of cars and buses for Lucy (my Silhouette) that I have been wanting to play with them and thought this was the perfect challenge to do so. Ashleigh came in while I was making my little bus and started singing "we all live in a yellow submarine", I had to stop her!!! I am not a big fan of the Beatles and this on at the bottom of my list of their songs I will tolerate.  Not to get too far off track but I do love Sir Paul McCartney and will get to see  him at Outside Lands in August. Once I finished my card I thought it needed a hidden Mickey on it with the colors I used.

CFC105

My final card is for another travel card using the new October Afternoon - Travel Girl patterned paper. I used the luggage tag die from Taylored Expressions that I forgot I had until I saw Tracey from In My Creative Opinion use one that I sent her.  Funny how you get so many supplies and forget what you have! I am sure that has never happened to any of you right?  It was a fun card to make and I paired it with the Destinations stamp set from PTI, such a great match.  Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and peek at my cards...have a wonderful weekend and Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dad's out there!
