WP9 Mood Board #20, Waltzingmouse Fanatics #1 and just for fun...

Happy Saturday...hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend! I spent the morning stamping and card making with my mom, so much fun but just like stamping with any friend, we end up spending more time chatting than card making.  My mom finished several cards and I stamped some backgrounds using the PTI Guide Lines set, will show those another day once I finish the cards.

My first card is for this week's WP9 Mood Board. I love the red white and blue look to the inspiration card. I did not have any chevron dies and Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea was sweet enough to send me some die cuts but then after playing with PTI's Guide Lines I came up with another idea.  Joyce was also sweet enough to send me some the new die cuts from WP9, so I used this adorable little crab instead.

Next card is for the first challenge for Waltzingmouse Fanatics, they have a new sketch every other week, and there is still plenty of time to play along. In my opinion Waltzingmouse has the best Halloween stamps hands down and ever since I received this adorable candy jar (thanks Jeanne), I knew mine had to be filled with eyeballs.

Final card for the day is a birthday card. My sister asked me to make a Disney themed birthday card for a 3 year old.  My first thought was make a princess card, once I was finished I realized this was not really a good card for a 3 year old so I started over and make a very cute baby Tigger card.  I was worried about getting it to her in time for the party that I forgot to get a photo, so sorry.  But I do have the princess card to share instead.  Thank you so much for taking time to stop by to peek at my cards....have a great rest of your weekend!

  2. Wow--you really did have a crafty day. Where to start--well, you already know that I think that your WPlus9 card is just stunning. Your stamping is just phenomenal, and I am inspired to pull out my guidelines set and stamp something as well. I am so glad that you mentioned that I sent you that crab, because I thought he was so cute, and I was going to ask where he was from so I could buy him. So happy I already did buy him. What can I say about a jar of eyeballs other than oh my, that is an incredible idea, and a lot of work, too. Your disney card is just perfect, and I'm sure it will make some little girl very happy.
