Colour Me #85 and Addicted to CAS #70 - School

Hello....I have one card to share today and it is for the new Colour Me #85 challenge. Timing is just perfect for this week's inspiration, school is just about ready to start where I teach, next Wednesday in fact! I love the fun pencil that was used and knew I had to pull out my wonderful pencil die from PTI. I ended up making 25 of these cards and sent one to each of my students welcoming them to the new school year. I hope you will find the time to play along with us this week.

I am also entering my card in the challenge at Addicted to CAS - School but I changed it up a bit...it was too time consuming to stamp the lines for the paper, so the card has the pencil and stamped sentiments. I am also entering my card is the Back to School Challenge at SSS.

2 cards for Superbowl Sunday...

Happy Sunday...I am not a football fan at all, so that makes it a great day to be crafty.  My husband and daughter will be watching the game will be cheering for Seattle and I will be sitting in my craft room making cards, such a fun way to spend the day.  So far I have 2 cards to share and the are for the week's ColourQ challenge #226 and Fusion Card Challenge #3 and both will be entered in Addicted to CAS #31.  My first card using the SSS Heart Parade is a case of Nichol's card from Blogged by Nichol Magouirk. She made hers using so many amazing different water color looking patterned paper, this has to be one of the most beautiful cards ever made! You can see her card here. Happy Sunday everyone...not sure what is going in your homes but my family is glued to the television watching the football games.  I am not a football fan at all so I have been busy sewing and making a yummy pot of Zuppa Tuscana (had some of this at Olive Garden and it was so good, I had to make some of my own), the house smells so good.  I have 5 cards to share and I am late to the party for 2 of them, CASology and Merry Mondays, I tell you this getting old thing is for the birds! CASology #77 - Bubbly and Addicted to CAS - Die Cuts

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend...we are finally getting some rain, not too much but every drop counts! Got all my chores done and can spend the remainder of the weekend be crafty, so excited.  So far I only have one card to share with you and I am getting it in just under the wire.  It is for this week's CASology and the cue card is Bubbly...I have been thinking all week of an idea and one finally popped into my head, in fact I came up with two ideas so if I get the other one made in time I will add that to my post. I decided to use some images from a little kit that Joyce sent me last year and added some bubbles from Surf and Turf from PS. And since it is using dies I am entering it is Addicted to CAS. Had to play along this week, I am so excited that one of my dear friends is one of the newest members of the CASology Design Team, Joyce from Cards-by-the-Sea, I could not be happier for her!  Thank you so much for taking time to peek at my card...have a great rest of your weekend!

Addicted to CAS #25 - One Layer

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend...mine has been pretty quiet, yesterday we went to Travis Air Force Base to do our grocery shopping, came home and made a pot of homemade chicken noodle soup, love soup and the weather is getting a bit cooler.  I finished laundry and cleaned my craft room up a bit so I would not feel guilty playing with some of my new stamps.  When I saw the City Scene set from PTI I knew this one would be coming home to live with me, just wish it had San Francisco in it too.  Maybe it will be in an additions pack in the future.  I decided to use the set to make a card for this week's Addicted to CAS challenge, one layer cards...I don't do many of these so this was a bit of a challenge but lots of fun using my new stamps.  Since going to Paris is on my bucket list I decided to play with those stamps first and made a little scene of Santa flying over the Eiffel Tower.  Thank you so much for taking time to peek at my card...have a fabulous day!

ColourQ #206 and Addicted to CAS #22 - Get Well

Happy Sunday...so far I have one card to share today and another first too. This is my first time playing with Addicted to CAS, their theme is get well and thought that the flowers from Bigger Blooms from PTI would be a great set to pull out.  This card is for ColourQ #206 too, one of the things I love about ColourQ is that it makes you use colors you might not ever use together and this week is no exception, they are so pretty.  Just happy that I had ink colors to make it work.  I added twine to start at the top but changed it to sequins and like the look much better.  Thank you for stopping by to peek at my card....have a fabulous day!
